The Rochester Coffee Co is a continental boutique coffee shop in the heart of the historic Rochester High Street. Described by the Medway Messenger as "Probably Rochester’s best coffee house" - We offer a slice of London without the expensive price tag...We use 100% Fairtrade & Rainforest Alliance wholebean coffee, unlike many other coffee houses we ensure our coffee is of the finest quality. We believe that going out for a coffee should be an enjoyable and relaxing experience, we have soft sofa's throughout the coffee shop for you to sink into. The Rochester Coffee Co. philosophy is to offer the best quality product, ethically sourced through sustainable means to our customers and to offer amazing customer service with a smile. Our boutique coffee shops are different to anything else currently available on the High Street, we display local artists works on our walls and play upbeat, yet relaxing background music. Our Team is trained to the highest standards to offer you an experience unrivalled by others. We aim to ensure your visit is relaxing and lifts stress away. Our extensive menu is not sort from impressive with a huge selection of beverages to our Signature Afternoon & Champagne Teas, there is always something to enjoy at The Rochester Coffee Co.

What a wonderful welcoming place. Not in the best of moods I stopped in for a coffee and left with big smile. The staff were welcoming and fun and the food and coffee were amazing. Special shoutout to the manager Jack, with his dry wit that made me miss my family a little less.

I visited Rochester Coffee Company on Saturday 28th February 2015 as my sister surprised me with a groupon voucher for afternoon tea for my birthday. We rang up on Saturday morning very hopeful that we could book in the same day. The gentlemen on the phone took my details down and told us that they were fully booked but would... More

Very friendly staff showed us straight to out table and service was very quick. Individual teapots, lovely selection of food on a three tier cake stand - 6 finger sandwiches, 6 mini pastries and 2 very big scones with proper thick cream, jam & butter so plenty for 2 people. Sinatra playing unobtrusively in the background, comfortable big leather seats,... More

I visited with my nan on Sunday, we got seated onto a clean table an asked for our drinks straight away. We were then served with delicious sandwhiches and little cakes. I felt very catered for as my nan doesn't like ham an the sandwhiches were changed to suit our needs. All the staff were very friendly and will definitely... More

We visited the coffee shop yesterday for the first time using a Groupon offer for afternoon tea. The photo on the Groupon offer page looked superb. Tea actually came with a teabag in a cup opposed to the teapot shown. Young staff with no one appearing to be in charge. Scones were bought in and too sweet as covered in... More

Its obvious that this has been done up recently, very comfortable and excellent coffee. There are a lot of coffee shops in Rochester so picking one isn't easy, although I'm sure most are ok. For me it's always good to go for an independent - much more fun than the chains.

I have been a regular customer at this coffee shop for quite some time. The coffee and cakes are amazing and the atmosphere is just as good! Abby and Jackson who run the shop are extremely welcoming and all the other staff are good aswell. Would never drink coffee anywhere else, even beats the big names on the high street!!
