The Rochester Coffee Co is a continental boutique coffee shop in the heart of the historic Rochester High Street. Described by the Medway Messenger as "Probably Rochester’s best coffee house" - We offer a slice of London without the expensive price tag...We use 100% Fairtrade & Rainforest Alliance wholebean coffee, unlike many other coffee houses we ensure our coffee is of the finest quality. We believe that going out for a coffee should be an enjoyable and relaxing experience, we have soft sofa's throughout the coffee shop for you to sink into. The Rochester Coffee Co. philosophy is to offer the best quality product, ethically sourced through sustainable means to our customers and to offer amazing customer service with a smile. Our boutique coffee shops are different to anything else currently available on the High Street, we display local artists works on our walls and play upbeat, yet relaxing background music. Our Team is trained to the highest standards to offer you an experience unrivalled by others. We aim to ensure your visit is relaxing and lifts stress away. Our extensive menu is not sort from impressive with a huge selection of beverages to our Signature Afternoon & Champagne Teas, there is always something to enjoy at The Rochester Coffee Co.

Afternoon Tea Groupon

We bought a Groupon voucher bringing the cost of afternoon tea here down to under £6 per person and on that basis I recommend it and would return. Each person gets three small sandwiches (ham, tuna, egg), a warm scone with cream and a pot of jam, a share of 6 miniature pastries and either tea or... read more

I started following Rochester coffee on facebook and noticed they done afternoon tea ( which me and my mum can't get enough of ) as a bonus they was doing a 25% off deal if you booked before Friday! Table was reserved for us and was seated as soon as we arrived. Quick service but wasn't rushed, we had a... More

We booked a cream tea with groupon. The staff were very attentive and the cream tea really nice and a glass of fizzy just finished it off, all in all a lovely afternoon.

Booked an afternoon tea which was very nice, although not much in the way of sandwiches. Staff were friendly too

I have visited Rochester Coffee Co long before Costa was opened in Rochester, and I used to tend to avoid it because it always got so busy you couldn't move in there. It's a shame that the mainstream coffee shops dominate over independent business, but admittedly Rochester Coffee Co has added a lot to it's menu in response which has... More

Enjoyed champagne cream tea here albeit on a Groupon voucher which made it excellent value for money! Delicious light and tasty sandwiches, nice scone and six dainty cakes. We opted for coffee. Young and friendly staff. Would definitively return.

we stopped here for lunch during the week. Good choice of food and hot drinks, but as you can see from the picture the attempt at a side salad was poor. There was a good relaxing atmosphere but what let it down mostly was the staff. They appeared to be more interested in chatting and texting than actually doing the... More

We arrived early for our booked Afternoon Tea - no problem, the table is reserved. Staff were welcoming, friendly and approachable. The food is freshly prepared and allergies and preferences are catered for. The chairs are large and comfortable, just what you need after a wander round Rochester and it's sights. The service is unhurried, and as the sandwiches are... More
