We booked a table for 15 people requesting two high chairs but only got one. As we were a big group we were placed in the 14th century vault which added atmosphere therefore we had high hopes for the food. The starters were a good portion setting us up nicely for the main course. The main course which was a... More

Service was excellent throughout the evening and the food was Devine, I had the nicest Ameretto cheesecake I have ever... More

Staff - particularly a lovely girl called Summer made us very welcome and found us a table in the vaults for a platter and wine. I'd mistakenly got the wrong day with my Groupon voucher but they allowed us to use it. Great vaults beneath the restaurant that you would never know were there from the outside. Steeped in history... More

Friends in Rochester tonight so used groupon for 4 platter and wine. Not in crypt as advertised, lounge bar fine though. Food very average, wine OK. Not one for grabbing repeat customer given the competition on the High Street. Would not recommend

Simply an excellent Sunday Roast. We have visited George Vaults in Rochester many times for their Sunday lunch and every time they serve a great meal with a good selection of drinks. The food is always great and the price is very reasonable…what more could you ask for, keep up the good work guys and we are looking forward to... More
