Lunch

Visited on a Sunday, on the off chance of a table. Had been told that the Faversham restaurant was very good. Well the Broadstairs one is very good. Food was excellent as was the service. Would recommend, two mains and two drinks £41 good size portions.

The food here was lovely, we had the antipasto which was just like ones from Italy. The portions were very generous. We were a big group and it did take a while to get served and we had booked a table which wasn't ready when we arrived.

Always good food, decent service, massive portions. We always come here with visitors. Good value for lunch, you never need a starter and main! They could do with changing the menu more often, there are specials on but even they look quite common after a few visits.

Maybe the best Italian restaurant in the area, good food, great wine and decent prices. Sometimes can be overcrowded and even with a booking you may need to wait to get the table. The service is ok, at time a bit slow and can be chaotic and few smiles will help. For some unknown reasons the longest waiting time is... More

We ate as a group of 7 on a Saturday night in June. We were upstairs, and inside, which we were happy with as we were a bit worried about it getting chilly later. Food was great, waiters were on top of service. We ate fairly early (8) as we had kids with us and I can't fault a thing.... More

I really want Posillipo to do better. I love the setting and the food is great but the waiting staff are disinterested and do not want to be there. Had a big birthday booked (daughters 21st) and they just did not care or ignored the table. We normally over tip but on this big occasion I could not be bothered... More

Ate here for the first time because a friend recommended it and I have to say I was not disappointed. The food was fab, the staff friendly and the service 1st class. Will definitely be eating here again and would recommend....even if you don't like pasta !!!

Ate at Posillipo with my husband a week ago on our anniversary. We asked for an outside table and were given one with a lovely sea view. We arrived early (about 5.30 pm) and could not believe how this place fills up. Within an hour of arriving it was packed. Our food was lovely. My husband had a steak dish... More

The very best of Italian food served in delightful surroundings overlooking the sea. WAtch out for the mushroom risotto though. It was so salty I couldn't eat it but it was quickly replaced with a delicious pasta dish so full marks to the restaurant.
