We have been going to Tamarind for quite a while and always end up going back. We have been to other Indian Restaurants but none come up to the standard of this one. You cannot fault the food at all and have never had a duff meal there. The staff are very friendly and caring. They will go the extra... More

Our meal was very enjoyable, had an item that I like that is not on a lot of Indian menus which was pleasing. One minor blip when we asked for more wine, they forgot us, but it did not spoil our evening. As we were on holiday and this was our first visit to this restaurant the staff made us... More

A favourite of ours. The staff went out of their way to make sure that we had space to accommodate a mobility aid. Clean and welcoming but all the hard surfaces make it somewhat noisy. That might have something to do with all the customers enjoying themselves! Some less common dishes on the menu, we went for some milder options... More

There seems to be a problem with Indian restaurants in this area, as we have not found one that meets expectations. We have been here a couple of times and this one is distinctly average - food okay but greasy, portions small, interior nice. Staff just go through the motions, with very little customer interest shown. Very robotic.

Despite my faith in TripAdvisor being dissolved, due to an ongoing issue, I just had to name and shame the WORST Indian Restaurant I have ever been to. The place looks nice, the place looks busy, the place looks modern and the place looks clean....oh, and the staff are pretty friendly too. Don't be fooled. The food here was disgusting.... More

I was dubious about stepping into this place; I used to live in Broadstairs and this place is not favoured by locals as much as a couple of other places but I found the food delicious, the service efficient and the atmosphere easy to be immersed in. There is a panoramic window so you can see and be seen. Keep... More

Ate here twice this week. Ambience really nice, service good and attentive. But only eat here if you don't really want a curry. Both times every dish had very little taste and certainly no heat. Am unsure whether they've heard about cooking with chilli as despite ordering the jalfrezi with a 2 x chilli rating it was very disappointing. My... More

Food was really tasty and reasonable value. An item was forgotten which we walked back for, so maybe count the containers before you leave? To be fair this happens occasionally with our home city take always, it's one of those things.

Quite large restaurant opposite Royal Albion Hotel. Convenient location. Fairly efficient staff. Food very good but not inexpensive. Service fairly quick. I recommend their red house wine. Nice desserts for kids.
