The food just keeps coming and coming! All good quality too, lovely flavours and great portion sizes, you can also go for a normal meze or big meze... My eyes were bigger than my belly and normal size would have been more than enough. Service was good, drinks good. The owner also treated us all to a free drink at... More

This place my wife loves. The owner allowed the grandkids to throw plates when it wasn't the Greek night. We had been there a couple of weeks previously when there was plate smashing on a Greek night. Kids eat free. Good food and good service.

Visited this restaurant on a Sunday evening. Choice of two meze. Very good value for money. Service was very quick, and the food was lovely. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal. All cooked fresh to order. The staff friendly and efficient . Would definately revisit this restaurant.

We went here as an extended family group after a family party at bleak house. We went with young kids and the food took too long to arrive and they lost interest and subsequently their minds! You get what you are brought, which is not a bad approach at all. It was lovely food, but it was just too long... More

The restaurant offered two kinds of meze, one for £10.95 and one for £15.95. We went for the cheaper. Starters were dips of taramasalata, houmous and tzatziki, with lots of hot pitta bread, some stuffed vine leaves, cold boiled potatoes, cold boiled beetroot, a few rather tasteless olives and chunky-cut tomatoes and cucumber pieces, a few prawns on a bed... Some Guests who recently stayed at South Lodge Guest House recently enjoyed a great evening at the Greek Taverna and had wonderful food, too much, but then here that is always the case whatever you appetite. They ate there last year when they stayed with us and this year they were equally delighted.

OK but nothing special. There are better similar establishments locally. Nevertheless the food was well prepared and care taken to cater for a food allergy. Really a bog-standard mezze offered in two sizes: adequate and large!

Set meze for £15 95 which consisted of sub standard food served by unsmiling staff. We were rushed through each course which was anything but authentic. We were even given beans and chips as part of the meze! Many items on the menu were missed out so I can only assume they had run out, hence the beans and chips!... More

Just returned from long weekend at Broadstairs for their annual Folk Festival. On friday night we had booked the restaurant. We were told they were holding a special Greek night complete with entertainment. The evening turned out to be a complete success a never ending supply of food including cold starters, hot starters, main courses and to finish a fresh... More

Went to this Taverna in Broadstairs, we were greeted by a rather argumentative women who quite honestly should probably be a Drs receptionist rather than a host of a restaurant!! The food is average and obviously not fresh but from frozen packets. The atmosphere was totally lacking in here,it was not how I expected a greek Taverna to be,it was... More
