Visted this restaurant last month with my husband and 2 children both under 10 years old we had the meze first was cold starter prawns, 3 different dips pitta bread etc then the 2nd starter came out which was Greek sausage halliomi cheese (which the children loved and called it squeaky cheese) and lounza (ham). Then was our main all... More

Myself and my wife have known Yiannis the manager for more than 10 years. We first met him when he was the manager of the original Greek Taverna in Margate. Yiannis is a Greek Cypriot from the mountain village of Kakopetria, and has at least 50 years experience of Greek cooking. It saddens us to see such recent negative comments... More

Very mixed reviews on here about this place so my friend and I were not sure what to expect. Sat down, waiter came over and drinks followed. No menu on table .... waiter arrived with first course of mezé... Humous, Taramasalata, pitta, etc etc! Their menu is on a leaflet outside door which we had missed. Anyway... Five courses came... i am Greek and have to say that the food that is served is probably on par if not better than any 5x restaurants you are likely to find in Cyprus , Greece , or London.as for value for money it is simply unbeatable. the price of £10.95 is ridiculously cheap for what you are getting. in most restaurants that... Been here loads of times now, don't know how people can say the food isn't Greek... it's owned by and the food is cooked by Greek people. For such small prices you get lots of delicious food and it's brought out at different stages. Always tastes delicious. John is so lovely too ... :)

This could possibly be one of the worst meals I've ever had.. There was nothing Greek about the food at all.. I had a set menu costing £11.95.. Consisting of a starter, middle and main..the starter was a saucer of prawns..a plate of cucumber with olives..the main offered nothing remotely Greek, chicken, more chicken and chips!! We didn't hang around for... More

Two of us had the set menu, which was £10.95 for a 4 course meal which included several mezze dishes with each course. The food was fresh, good quality , tasty and plenty of it. The manager was also our waiter, he had kitchen staff as well, all of them were friendly and clearly proud of their restaurant . Give... More

avoid at all costs, quite possibly the worst meal ive ever eaten which was served by money grabbing rude staff. sub standard offerings that were far from anything greek. dont waste your time or money as all you will leave with us an extremely nasty taste in your mouth.

We came here during the bank holiday weekend with the family. Based on the recommendations we went and the restaurant was even better than what we were expecting. Food is great (charcoal for the wonderful meat) and the welcome is warm and very friendly. The best surprise was the bill. An absolute recommendation
