this restaurant is a must to visit. the food London standard, but not London prices the restaurant decorated tastefully, owner and staff first class. We have been six times and the same quality of food and standards very good each time. This is not a carvery, or fast food establishment. A must to visit.

We had a great meal at Restaurant 54, both of us having the duck main course which was faultless my partner had the white chocolate brioche with ice cream, and I had the cheese board, both very good. The staff were friendly and attentive, and I will be returning again in the near future.

A birthday party with 3 generations present so a wide range of tastes and appetites to cope with. We were there early to allow for children's eating habits and were the only customers to start with. The restaurant is pretty and well decorated although there are a lot of changes of level for those with walking difficulties. Hard to comment... More

I went to 54 with my wife and mother in law on a special night out. My mother-in-law had been several times before and had enjoyed it. The good point was the food which was exceptionally good. I had the cannon of lamb, one the best plates of food I've had for along time. However, two bad points which let... More

Good quality restaurant serving a good choice of dishes, English food with continental influence. Nice ambience but service a little slow, although this could be attributed to it being a very busy evening.

Once again my wife and I have been to Restaurant 54, this time for a special meal on our 16th wedding anniversary. This especially significant due to Carole's health. The meal was one of the best we have ever had the pleasure to consume! I had the duck which was frankly sublime. We both shared the sampler dessert and thoroughly... More

Last visited five months ago. The portions are smaller and the background music slightly too loud and possibly inappropriate depending on one's tastes. Did hear there'd been a change of partner/owner a while ago that might have a bearing on this. Anyway, the food is still excellent; just wish there was more of it.

Excellent food and ambience although not an ideal location down at the end of Albion Street. However the general experience was very good.

In Broadstairs for only 3 days, we chose to visit Restaurant 54 for our last evening, and we were so pleased we did. Everything was perfect - the food, the service, the decor, the ambience - simply a lovely evening from start to finish. We were spoilt for choice with the menu - everything sounded delicious, and the dishes we... More
