Fantastic take away fish & chips with a first class service, the surroundings are clean and welcoming with great value for money. This is certainly a good choice for the family when visiting Hornsea, the walls are filled with old photographs of the Hull trawlers and their Skippers. The owner is from a fishing family who working on the Hull trawlers,... More

It was pleasant, a large fish was huge! I couldn't eat it all. We sat in and had tea bread and butter.

We were visiting the area and decided to pop into Hornsea for fish and chips; we always have fish and chips if we're at the coast! Great food, great atmosphere, great staff. It was... Great! The fish was so fresh (and large) and the photos of what I guessed were locals in days gone by on the wall give it a heritage and community feel. The staff were welcoming and it while experience made a drizzly day much brighter!

Visited the restaurant today as a family of 5 with 2 young children and a grandma. From walking in the door to walking out the service was incredible. The staff took time to speak to us individually and making sure our 5 year old boys were enjoying their meal. And then there's the food. Simply outstanding in both taste and... More

Called in today, first time for my wife and I since it changed hands from Bostwicks. We moved away from the area 3 yrs ago. Chips were lovely, Yorkshire Fishcakes a bit greasy, seemed as though they had been in the cabinet a while, luke warm and it was only 12:15pm; we ate half and binned them, at £2 each... More
