Down in Dungarvan for an overnight work thing. Called ahead to make sure they were still serving food @ 20:30 (they were). Nice gastro pub menu, had the burger...excellent. The craft beer selection is just as good. Plenty of draught options, a few of which I hadn't had before. I'd highly recommend this place, chilled out atmosphere.

We ate at the bar. Great fish and chips. My aunt loved her Caesar salad. Beautiful old fashioned pub/restaurant. We had a great time.

Stopped off here after a day in Waterford and were looking forward to a nice meal based on previous reviews. First of all it was extremely pricey, ,€6.10 for a bowl of soup and then the main course of chicken supreme was an eyewatering €16:95 for a chicken breast on a small bed of mash. I have got a similar... More

Crab dip for starter fantastic. Ribeye steak just as ordered. Chef here knows what he's doing and how to do it properly. Lovely staff, make u so relaxed and comfortable. One of my favourite places to visit if not the favourite.

We stopped in Dungarvan for stretch our legs and have a cup of tea and something to eat. This place has great pub atmosphere and great service. We had a sandwich and dessert and were pleased with the food and service. Nice wine list would draw us back here again. Recommended!

Visiting last year and found the portion sizes very generous and for 9.95 it would want to be, however returned during the summer and was a bit let down as it wasn't as great as the first time, despite similar menu and similar order. The chips/fries in a steel container is something that really adds a special touch though, and... More

Really nice olde world pub. Good casual food. Interesting selection of craft beers. Close for a pre-prandial for the Tannery.

This is a cosy bar, with lots of nooks & crannies, and a fantastic selection of local beers & a lovely wine list. It's the kind of place you pop into for 1 and end up staying the night. The staff were lovely, a lovely spot...

On recommendation for the lovely Rebecca at the Lawler Hotel we ventured over to Merry's Pub. The atmosphere was awesome and the staff and the locals made us feel very welcome. My wife had the fish and I had the pork belly. Wowee that pork was cooked to perfection and was accompanied with Spanish chorizo mash. Mmm mmm delicious. Cannot... More

Very good atmosphere in this pub with good tasty pub grub. Had the chicken wings and battered fish and no complaints. My wife had the burger and was also happy. The pub is always buzzing and the staff are friendly. When we stayed in Dungarvan the weather was very wet so we needed shelter and sustenance. Merry's is ideal in... More
