Good Meal

Recently went to test out the well known steak on the rock, I have had nicer steak, there was too much pepper and salt on the steak. Starters and desserts were beautiful. Staff were nice and helpful. Lovely restaurant overall, will be back at some stage.

A lovely man in a delightful shop in Dungarvan suggested that we came here as there was a special offer on. And it was very special...an absolute bargain. Two course meal, bed and breakfast. The food was fantastic & the room is just what the doctor ordered for two tired travellers. Highly recommended!

Poor on every level... old and extremely tired interior. Room the same. Extra bed seemed to place in our 'triple' room no headboard etc. Sheets just laid over bed ends of bed clothes all on the floor. We ended up making the beds our selves. At breakfast poor service and food wasn't great. Brought to a filthy table wide the... More

Lawlors do very tasty roast dinners each day and are an ideal spot if you want a quick, good quality, tasty Irish dinner. The meals are good value for money and you won't leave hungry!

Over rated, staff are okay, the hotel was cheap decor. A highly rude man called mikey walked around with a sour face. Even when we mentioned the state of our family room. Will not be staying here again.

Met up with relatives who were staying there for a week. It is a basic 3 star old fashioned hotel with very friendly staff. Service is excellent and the food plentiful. We had a lunch from the carvery and it cost 9.00 euros and was excellent value. Would recommend to anyone passing through and in need of a quick lunch.

On a GB Tours spent 4 nights here. Staff extremely hard working and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The food in the evening was superb but probably a bit too much but then you don't have to eat all three courses!. The hotel itself is rather old fashioned but clean and that is the main thing. I would say,... More
