On the whole the food served was very good. You had a good choice and it was well cooked and served hot. They had to serve two coach loads of people at the same time so did well to cope with so many.

Excellent food, great value for money and service (particularly from Margaret) to beat the band.!! It was a pleasure to dine in Lawlors. The atmosphere was so nice and the people we met at the reataurant were all so friendly. Will certainly be back again for another visit.

Had meal in Lawlors Restaurant on a Saturday evening. It was quite busy but service was efficient. Good menu choice. Were given some bread and butter while we were waiting - it was a little stale, but was welcome. We had fish & Chips and seafood pie for main courses - both were good.. House wine at €21 was a... I have dined in Lawlor's dining room on a number of occasions and never had anything but great food. It is pretty basic fare, but always well cooked and presented. This new addition of the hot rock steak is only terrific. I first had it in Budapest and was thrilled to find it on offer in Lawlors. It really is... More

We visited this hotel restaurant on the recommendation of friends. Sat 28th Dec was a night I thought would be quiet falling as it did between Christmas and New Years Eve. It is just as well I am a cautious person and made a reservation for the three of us, The restaurant was exceptionally busy but the service from the... More

Food is good here. Lunch is the best option, cost wise. Dinner is expensive - proprietor does not seem to realise that Celtic Tiger is dead. Rooms are very poor. I would suggest you have luhch here but stay elsewhere
