The restaurant is not very clean. The menu is tourist- orientated. The waitresses were nice, but under pressure, and the service was very slow. The proprietor was quite overbearing, and paid most attention to the male regulars.

We had a very nice plate of lemon sole and plate of Irish bacon and cabbage. Dinner for two with one dessert with coffee and tea was around 32 euro. Service was excellent and the food was well prepared.

We stopped in Dungarvan for lunch and a sit by the seaside. Found this by chance. Fantastic food and great value. Wish we could have tried more. No small portions either. Definitely one to visit.

Nice little restaurant in the heart of Dungarvan. Busy attentive staff. Liked the atmosphere. Fish special that I had for the main course was average. Lacked taste. Dessert to follow made up for it though .. Delicious home made apple tart with ice cream! Great value - so would definitely try them again if passing. Maybe the main meal just... More

Really enjoyed finding this restaurant after an endless search in a virtually deserted town. Had a good choice of fresh seafood and daily specials. According to my wife the chocolate cake ranks among the best she's ever eaten.

This has been in Dungarvan for as long as I can remember. It serves huge portions of quality home cooking. You really need to be hungry to do the meals justice here. Not overly proced either. Great service and no long waits.

Had breakfast here for two. Pleasant staff, not pushy. The place was a bit quiet so not rushed. The food was excellent and the coffee was plentiful. Will be returning!
