Looked for a table on a Saturday Evening and was greeted by a very rude member of staff who gave a very blunt no, Understandable they couldnt fit us in us as the restaurant was busy but a bit of manners wouldnt go amiss.

I can't stress enough how satisfied we are with this place. First of all the place looks great and there's a nice homely atmosphere. The service is very fast and attentive, and of course the food is delicious! A gem!

A must for a lovely breakfast in centre of town. The food is excellent and the service is tops. It is one of the best eatery's in Dungarvan and well worth a visit.

A wonderful restaurant, always full of locals enjoying a great range of food. The best thing on the menu is the bacon and cabbage with potatoes. They also have good coffee and apple pie. Staff are helpful . A daily papers available.

I went here because it was a popular restraint when I was a child. But after going there recently I don't think I'll go again. Service was very poor. The waitress's acted like she didn't even want me there and they didn't have half of the meal that ordered and didn't offer me anything to replace what I payed for... More

I would highly reccomend the apple tart at the Shamrock Cafe. It is absolutely delicious. Only EUR5 to take away.
