Arrived at start of service @ 5-30pm and was quickly ushered up to the second floor. I opted for the Easy Evening Menu - three courses for €30. Started with a silky smooth chicken liver parfait with artisan toast and it was luscious. Main of paella with local seafood, chorizo and golden garlic. Once again an excellent well balanced dish.... My husband and I went to the tannery for a night away to mark a special occasion . It was really enjoyable. We started with a great ( if not a bit pricey) cocktail down stairs before moving upstairs for dinner. The atmosphere upstairs was busy and had a good buzz, staff are friendly and informative , and were of... More

We first went to a two hour cooking class, hosted by Paul Flynn, in the custom built studio. Very informative, entertaining and enjoyable. Paul is really excellent in his approach to helping people cook well. We could have just sampled the food that was cooked - we had a quick taste- but wanted to experience the restaurant. We could not... More

We have eaten here a few times now and we can't fault it. Superb food... Outstanding customer service. Very friendly atmosphere. If you can't get a table upstairs the tapas downstairs are as good as you get. Well done to Paul O Flynn & his lovely wife. More so well done also to the very attentive and friendly staff they... Went on a whim and was very happy with both the food and the experience. Very interesting flavour combinations. The monk fish was amazing and everyone loved everyone else's food. The salted Caramel dessert has to be tasted to be believed. The people were lovely and service was personal. Would definitely recommend it

Incredible food and service. The staff were very attentive; the main staff girl was charming and personable - she listened to our stories and shared a few of her own. The food was simply divine and there is no question why they are highly recommended. If in Ardmore or Dungarvan and searching for a good meal that is not too... More

We went to The Tannery with friends who live locally. It is busy, buzzy and friendly. The food is excellent - the crispy egg starter was particularly good. Local fish and shellfish and good pork. The restaurant has a more informal wine bar downstairs which was also packed. On the Saturday evening we were there it was quite warm but... More

Had Sunday lunch here two weeks ago, it was really good. Great food, great service and well worth driving down from Dublin for the day. One minor gripe, restaurant very very warm, uncomfortably so. Another diner mentioned this to the manager and was told that the air conditioning was on and all the windows open! The Tannery please note, air... More
