Not as good as I imagined.

Our expectatoms were too high I think. Went for a family lunch on a Sunday. Was not busy so service was nice and relaxed. However the selection on the menu left a lot to be desired. I found the monkfish quite tough. I just expected more as there is a great rep on this restaurant. Will hopefully... read more

Had a delicious dinner here recently. Great staff with just the perfect level of attention but not overly so. Daniel in particular was so friendly and welcoming. Loved all our chosen dishes but the bread was surprisingly bland. One of the best meals we have had in a while - spoiled somewhat by the constant photography happening at a nearby... More

Had dinner here recently and was disappointed by the experience. Food was at best average and prices were high relative to other restaurants in Ireland. The wine list was good but overpriced .

I enjoyed the meal. Staff was very positive and helpful. Meal was wonderful and the interior was a very good surprise. I would like to visit again.

We had booked a night in the Cliff House in Ardmore and decided to enhance our trip by having a night in Dungarvan staying at the Tannery guesthouse and dining at the Tannery restaurant. Well if you want the truth I think we both enjoyed the night in Dungarvan more than the highly anticipated night in the Cliff House Hotel.... More

Absolutely outstanding! Worst part of our night was choosing our meal from the myriad of beautiful courses. In the end we had three starters between the two of us. All amazing. As were the mains and desserts. We were QUITE full when leaving. l only wish we had arrived earlier in the day to sample their tapas. Oh well, next... More

Recently visited as part of a large party where we had a private, beautifully furnished and appointed room to ourselves. From the outset it was the friendliness and professionalism of the staff that set the tone for the evening. Our menu was well thought out and had plenty of choice. Each course was well presented and tasty although those that... More

The tapas bar is a treat and the variety is great. The service is very good and the atmosphere is lovely. Paul Flynn is a great ambassador for Dungarvan. Thanks to him Dungarvan is on the map
