An unexpected discovery along the way!

It appeared just in time, when I started riding along the Chianti Claddico way just at the lunch time. Excellent food, Chianti wine recommended by the waiter and super friendly staff! Highly recommended!

From Florence, your excursions to Sienna, Greve in Chianti or the American Military Cemetery near Impruneta will all carry you close to this wonderful little restaurant. If you can plan a stop for lunch or dinner, you should. Weather permitting, you can dine in the pavilion which opens to the trickle of the Greve River. The menu and the staff... More

I dined her with my wife and 5 children. This place is fantastic. The appetizer platter is a must order. The chef decided to send us a second platter on the house with a large piece of Burrata cheese. The main course pasta dish was delightful. Others ordered the rabbit et al dish and the wild boar past dish. The... More

We were staying in Impruneta, and wanted something other than what was offered in walking distance, so we consulted Trip Advisor. This place has a warm feeling, and we were made to feel at home right away. Yes, there was language barrier, but a smile can spread a lot of warmth. The antipasto was very good, as was the chicken.... More

This is fantastic! The best antipasto we have had so far. The buffalo mozzarella excellent as were all the other delicious goodies that make up an antipasto plate. Then we really didn't know what we were ordering as entire menu in Italian but we saw on here the beefsteak was good so we went for it. Almost fell off our... More

Absolutely fantastic! The vibe is warm, welcoming and down to earth and the waiter is brilliant. Definitely try the Antipasti platter, the Tortufo pecce pasta and the Panacotta and Chocolate desert. Went there every night of the week.

We were fortunate enough to be staying only a few miles away and it was recommended by the owners of our apartment. We were warmly welcomed and despite us not speaking Italian the waiter was so patient and helpful. We chose a shared starter which consisted of a huge choice of beautiful meats, cheeses etc and the wild boar pappardelle... More

If you're on the highway between Firenze & Siena don't miss this Osteria. that located close to your course. From the minute you enter the door you feel as most expected gust. The service is friendly. The chef is qualified & very generous with the most expensive ingredients, the Tartuffe. The atmosphere is pleasant & most welcoming. Once we'll be... More

Family restaurant with good TripAdvisor rating, but not as many other restaurant which cannot cope with the many visitors who come because of the high rating, this is still a very nice place to visit. The food is very good, service very good, and prices good. To sum up, if you are around, do not miss a typical meal in... More
