I visited this restaurant in May 2014, everything was great. I tried the Brunello for the first time and it is worth the praise it gets. All the food we ordered was really tasty and delicious. The ravioli with truffles and walnuts is a must have, simply amazing. The restaurant staff was warm and friendly.

We arrived late to. Montalcino as I had a 24 hour bug. The owners wife Isabella was very hospitable, so was Alessandro and thy owner. Isabella shared with us the importance of a special cookie they eat in. Montalcino that commemorates the people who died in the battalion between the florentine and seinnese. Also, the food we had was delicious... More

We had a perfect weekend lunch here with a dozen or so friends, sharing platters of bruschetta, cold cuts and cheese, over a glass or two of Rosso di Montalcino. We also enjoyed fantastic soup (it was cold and rainy and we sat outside) and traditional pici. Warm and friendly service, great food. Highly recommended.

This is our favorite place. Rich with content, simple at concept. In this trip,we came with the kids, although this is our romantic place. Great wine and guidance, great cheese, meet and antipasti.

I don't know how I made the mistake, but Ezio's wife is Isabella. Just had a wonderful postcard all the way from Montalcino to Trinidad and we were totally touched. Can't wait to return.

When in Tuscany we ALWAYS make a trip to Montalcino to Bacchus! Ezio and Rosanna who own the place are wonderful hosts and Carmen, our lovely Carmen is still there. We returned after 5 years and took some relatives who were in the area at the time. We had the salami, cheese, salad and of course Brunello wine. As always... More

A wonderful and friendly little place in Montalcino that was recommended by our agriturismo owner. The service was excellent, food was very good, i had the tagliatelle al ragu de cinghiale and husband had the bread soup. The wine was reasonable and dessert was fine. We went back for dessert and digestives because they were so nice... I definitely recommend... More

We went to this place around 4 pm for a very late lunch. All of us had antipasti dishes and they were great. The cheese with truffle is excellent.. make sure you ask for honey with your plate of cheese. The red wine we ordered, Brunello di Montalcino, was fantastic and inexpensive at 13 Euros a bottle! We had to... More

If you happen to be in the heart of montalcino and feel peckish when all restaurants are closed, you can count on this place to calm your hunger with some delicious snacks. They have their own cold cuts shops, so if you want to take with you some of the tastes you've eperienced here, just have it packed for you.... More
