Very nice restaurant with an incredible view

After an spectacular tour and tasting we enjoyed a delicious lunch at the restaurant which had an amazing view. While the service left a little to be desired, the food was excellent and they were also able to accommodate my need to eat gluten free. Take your time to enjoy the view and food as... read more

We stopped in on a rainy day after touring the Poggio Antico winery and purchasing a case of their fabulous wine. The restaurant is on the estate and we had one of the best lunches we have ever had in Italy (and we go twice a year and own property there). We both opted for the full tasting menu and... More

In late July 2015, my wife and I joined two other couples for a lunch under the Tuscan sun at Ristorante di Poggio Antico. The Ristorante offered a variety of specialties, and each item ordered was superb (thanks to Chef Sossio). The setting was spectacular, and Michele and Valentia provided attentive, welcoming, and friendly service. We have had many delightful... More

Poggio Antico is a beautiful estate with many acres of vineyards and olives groves, a winery and a restaurant. The setting of the restaurant is exceptional, having a beautiful view of the vineyards and the olive groves. Food is good, presented in a sophisticated way, and is based on very high quality ingredients. There is a wide selection of wines,... More

We arrived Poggio Antico with high expectations after we dined there some years ago. The welcome in a restaurant a Saturday evening with guest's at only two tables was not promising. First, the restaurant really need a face-lift, the interior is more like the eightieth's and it looked worn out. The waiter (a young man) was friendly but unprofessional, ha... More

Visited the restaurant at Poggio Antico for lunch together with 35 persons from Mo Wineclub. Had a three-course lunch served with great wines from the Poggio Antico winery. Everything here was nice; the staff, the food and the wines - the Poggio Antico Brunello 2004 in particular. We had a great experience.

The winery is wonderful. The restaurant is only so-so. It aspires to fine dining, but the food -- while ok -- is not up to this standard.

If you are able to have lunch or dinner here you should! Probably one of the best meals I have had. My husband ordered the 4 course lunch and I ordered the foie gras and an extra pasta. The food was so so good, my only regret was not ordering more. The wine is also fantastic. We splurged on a... More

We have had our dinner here after the wine tour throught the cellars of Poggio Antico, which in itself was very good and afterwards we had a great tasting of the wines, some of them were absolutely amazing. So when we had the tour and the tasting we enjoyed our dinner at the restaurant, which is not part of Poggio... More

Slowcooked pig dry and without any flavour, pasta meal with a medioker tomatosauce, nothing worth revisiting, sorry.
