We found this restaurant on our last night, and it was worth the wait! The recommended tasting menu with the tasting wines was absolutely delicious. Antonio was a welcoming host, who very kindly let us sample some grappa, which we had wanted to do during our trip, but never got round to. Highly recommend this place.

Suggestion from the hotel, this is a nice little restaurant. We had the fiorentina steak which was delicious and had a great Brunello wine. The owner comes to your table and explain the menu and what wine is good with your meal.

We were recommended by a local to go here and we were happy we went. The service was very good and friendly and the overall meal was good but it had its short comings. The cost for water was pricey, the dolce was lacking on style and flavor. The wine was tasty and fair priced. I thought the menu was... More

The meal was good but not the best we had on our trip and the decor was a bit off-putting (christmas decorations?!) but the staff were excellent. More of a family friendly restaurant as opposed to a romantic/scenic one, I think next time we'd go somewhere to take advantage of the views, but we'd perhaps return if in a bigger... More

Antonio and Roberta are amazing and both greeted us for lunch . We had a few glasses of local Rosso Tuscano wines, Bruchetta, and pasta with boar ragu. All of it was spectacular and a great lunch. While this place doesn't have the view like some other places , they make up for it with great food and service.

Found this restaurant in Rick Steves' book. It was wonderful. The service was excellent and the food devine. My husband and I tried the fixed price menu that included antipasto, pasta, beef and dessert. We also had the wine pairing with it. Wow, a delicious meal. The dessert was the best! Would definitely visit again when we are in the... More

We really enjoyed the loving preparation of the food here and the careful attention of Roberto at this quaint restaurant in the medieval city of Montalcino. I told Roberto how much I wanted to spend on a bottle of wine and both nights he made a perfect suggestion from the list of Brunellos available to enjoy with our fresh and... More

The Restaurant owned by Antonio and Roberta as the name plate outside suggests, is a very cozy place with an unmatched personalized service.Even the simplest of food we ordered had a distinct, pleasing personality. A must-visit place if you like fine food but affordable price and all served with a smile. Don't look for any view as there is none.Nice... More

This restaurant was recommended by a local of Montalcino, and was a nice break from fancy type local Tuscan restaurants with serious menus, a good chance to try the local kitchen almost as it is cooked at home, in this family restaurant. The wine list had a nice selection of Brunellos - all priced reasonably. Kids also enjoyed the food,... More
