Authentic Tuscan Cuisine

A Tuscan treat awaits all who dine here. Tucked away and on the night we dined here a mix of locals as well as tourists. A great welcome from Antonio the owner who speaks excellent English. With a varied menu of local delights and an interesting specials board to tempt you. Every course was a real... read more

Don't know how this restaurant could get a bad review. We had a delicious meal, the best "house wine" of our three week trip that matched the food perfectly, and the most attentive waiter I have ever known, who kept my wine glass full but was right on that I had only two glasses in total. Great atmosphere, great people,... More

The restaurant was recommended to us by local people we know. Unfortunately it is a tourist trap. The food is unremarkable, re-heated spaghetti and meet that was pre-cooked and extremely salty. Service with an attitude to foreigners. I recommend to stay away.

Must visit here to enjoy fine traditional Toscana foods and great Brunello wine selected by chef. We were very sorry that we could not buy the same wine we had there at near wine shops. OTL Food was really great. My husband and I promised to come here again when we visit Montalcino. 꼭 와보세요. 후회하지 않으실 거에요^^

Re di Macchia is a typical Italian restaurant with the right atmosphere and a top service. The food was excellent and the wine perfect to the meal. Book table in advance.

We had an amazing authentic Italian meal here with our friends. Make sure you come here hungry, and be sure to enjoy multiple courses, as each one was fantastic. Every course was superb, staff was spot on, and made sure we had everything we needed. Make sure you get a reservation, as this place gets filled up every night. They... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by the owner of Fossacole (a fabulous small family Brunello vineyard), Dinner last night, 2 January, was absolutely fantastic. My husband, a chef, said that he could learn something from the chef here! We had the homemade spaghetti with wild boar sauce, eggplant parm, lasagna, wild boar with polenta, roasted potatoes, and spinach, and... More

The menu is very interesting with traditional tuscan specialties: prosciutos, cheese, pasta and meat! Don´t need to mention to choose one of regional wines (brunello and others). Desert tastes even better with vin santo! Staff is superb!!!
