This restaurant was recommended to us by the owner of Fossacole (a fabulous small family Brunello vineyard), Dinner last night, 2 January, was absolutely fantastic. My husband, a chef, said that he could learn something from the chef here! We had the homemade spaghetti with wild boar sauce, eggplant parm, lasagna, wild boar with polenta, roasted potatoes, and spinach, and... More

The menu is very interesting with traditional tuscan specialties: prosciutos, cheese, pasta and meat! Don´t need to mention to choose one of regional wines (brunello and others). Desert tastes even better with vin santo! Staff is superb!!!

the atmosphere and the food is both average, The starter, a mushrom lasanga was very tasty but not one you will remember for long, the wild boar ragu was dry, taste ok, but quite boring. Friendly service but that does not help when the rest is average on all levels.

The food here is good - not amazing, but is worth a visit if you're looking for simple Tuscan cooking in Montalcino. I probably rate it 3.5 stars - above average. The service at this place is great - the owner/host is very friendly.

Good food, but the pasta is a bit too salty. It's in a hidden part of Montalcino and easily accessible from the main sights.

Tuscan food at it's best! Generous portions carefully prepared, incredible wine list, busy busy waiter/owner/host - who was a lot of fun and had great suggestions! Dessert was incredible as you can tell by other photos. This place was recommended by our Tour Guide who was a local man, and he never led us wrong! We raved about food when... More
