We started out meals in Montalcino here on a warm night. Fresh grilled porcini, taglietelle with fresh truffle followed by bistecca fiorentina cooked to perfection. We so enjoyed the meal, we returned for another feast. Not the greatest looks as it is a small room with odd decor, but it punches above its weight.

My wife and I enjoyed our meal here. I had a pork dish and it was quite good. I can't remember offhand what my dear spouse had but I do know she was pleased with her dinner. The service was good, the staff was frienly, and the prices were reasonable. I would certainly recommend this place.

We visited in off season and were pleasantly surprised by this find. The restaurant is small and simple in decor, but the food was delicious and filling. The antipasta dish of mushrooms in the Gorgonzola cheese sauce was the best of our vacation. We ate every last drop. My prima pasta was the truffle ravioli...again wonderful. The staff made us... We stumbled upon this small family owned restaurant and were very pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and well priced. Our pasta dishes were two of the best we had while in the Tuscany area. It is not fancy but the food is good.

Stumbled onto this restaurant while we were wandering through Montalcino. The restaurant interior is small and plain, nothing special. The food: We ordered the porcini carpaccio with truffles and pecorino, it was terrific and the highlight of our meal! Hand made strazzopreti pasta came next: the pasta had a nice chewy texture and came in a wine based ragu, very... More

Enchanting with the best service, try the wild boar or brunello risotto. Great wine list, it they don't have what you want they will try to get it! The restaurant is small, so at times have a wait. Make a reservation through your hotel.

Found this place by accident. And glad we did. Made to feel at home and the owner found a table for the 5 of us by moving a group of 3 to a smaller table. Kitchen is tiny but produces great food. The bruschetta were wonderful. Great bread, hint of garlic and terrific tomatoes. But the standout was the pasta... More

I had a truffle-sauce ravioli and it was awesome. My wife had a Brunello sauce pasta which was exquisite. Great service. Ambiance was nothing special, but it was open and one of the first places we saw on the main drag there in Montalcino, so we dipped in with a ravenous group. My sister ordered a half chicken, which was... More

We got to this place by luck and had one of the best dinners in Italy. The home made pasta with truffles is to die for and they have a great list of different Brunello wines. You can also get small bottles and a Grappa di Brunello riserva which was a gift on the house. The Tiramisu is also awesome!... More

We went to this restaurant at the recommendation of our driver (who we finally convinced to join us). It looked like a tiny place but when we got inside we were surprised to see they had more room then we thought. It is run by a family with several generations. The service was good and the food was delicious. Steaks... More
