Lovely fresh food

Nice spot for lunch when visiting Villa Carlotta. Nice hosts, fresh pasta and lovely soups. Shame about being next to the main road, however all of the restaurants along this strip are. Lovely view of the lake and Bellagio however.

We had a pasta fest at Rodrigo. Both dishes were excellent and the sautéed spinach was delicious. Very casual and comfortable sitting outside watching the lake.

we had today a very nice dinner right at the lake Como. We have been positivley surprised by the service and quality of the food in this location. the place is kind if cozy, as far as a seating right at the roadside can be, with lots of traffic passing by :-) The hosts have been very polite and attentive.... We had two of their stone oven pizzas. Simply amazing, something you will not be able to find back at home! As a bonus, the view to the lake and mountains is breath-taking. Absolutely check' em out!

I probably had the best spaghetti with clams and lots of it. The waiter was very attentive and nice.

This restaurant's history dates back over 100 years when it used to be an "international" bar. However, the food is simply superb. The dishes are your staple Italian variety, but with a twist and a complexity of taste that is surprising. We highly recommend the minestrone and the penne arrabbiatta!
