We were recommended this restaurant by a local business proprietor who told us this is an exceptional restaurant for authentic Italian home style cooking. It was so good we had to return the following evening for another wonderful experience! The food was exceptional, the ambience so beautifully rustic and well worth the climb up the hillside for dinner (first night... More

This has to be one of our favourite style of restaurants which should be treasured. A wonderful bucolic intimate setting, an amazingly efficient woman server who reads your mind in another language, and incredible tasty hearty food! Polenta uncia, porco al forno with funghi and roast potatoes where every mouthful is sublime, accompanied by delicious Barbaresco, followed by tiramisu and... More

A rustic and traditionally family run restaurant nestling in the foothills behind Tremezzo & Griante. Fine cuisine providing local specialities such as rabbit and beef, without the boring pastas and pizzas. The quality of the food was excellent and the restaurant has a superb atmosphere. We sat on the terrace and had the most spectacular views of the lake on... More

This restaurant is family run and located in the hills behind Tremezzo. It offers local specialities, but no pasta or pizza so maybe not that well suited for families with young children. The quality of the food was good and the restaurant has a nice local atmosphere.

We had dinner with 11 adults and 2 children in this lovely small restaurant. We were kindly welcomed by the owners and staff. We will remember and recommend this restaurant for its friendliness, service and hospitality and of course the really good authentic food! A very good experience. We will be back.

This small, family restaurant tucked away in the hills above Tremezzo satisfies on so many levels. We secured a wonderful table, with views down to Lake Como, thanks to a call from our hostess at Hotel La Perla. The food was excellent throughout, starting with fine antipasto and delicious main courses (the rabbit was especially tasty) and culminating with great... More

Visited this restaurant on recommendation from our Hotel. It is situated in the hills of Tremezzo in a very quaint setting. They have a somewhat limited menu but all seemed reasonably priced. The menu is in Italian with English translation but they will only speak to you in Italian which we thought was very good!! The Brassato (Braised Beef cooked... More

Probably the best dinner of our France/Italy trip. We didn't have reservations but they fit us in. Wonderfully prepared dished and a beatiful view of the lake.

We found this restaurant by chance on a pretty ordinary day. Once inside we were cheerfully greeted by the owners of the establishment. The food is simple & wholesome, but most importantly satisfying. I believe it was the best meal we had during our 3 weeks in Italy. The price is quite reasonable for this region. Beautiful views of the... More

It was a rainy Sunday; we were visiting from Bellagio and looking for a lunch spot. We were very lucky to get the last table in this cozy, family-oriented restaurant up the mountain a bit in a little hamlet-- you have to look for it. The food was very simple and perfectly prepared -- roasted meats and sausages, grilled vegetables... More
