The menu here is quite simple and very traditional - we had cold meat antipasti - mushroom risotto - lake fish and salad - house red and chocolate mousse - all delicious - small patio area so may need to book to sit outside- worth a visit

Visited here twice while staying in Tremezzo on recommendation from our Hotel. Quite a good variation on the menu and reasonably priced. Service is efficient and unassuming. Can highly recommend the melon/Parma Ham which was huge as well as the trout fillet which was delicious and very well cooked. It can be difficult to find but just head for the... More

Great choice of food - unless you notice the sign and are wandering the backstreets you will miss this lovely little place!

We just had what should have been our dinner at this place. We read all the reviews but decided to experience it for our selves especially after our hotel recommended it. First impressions; decor non existing, ambience; none, waitress; tried in her own way. Well we thought all of the above could be forgiven if the food is good. My... More

Small food menu selection, but both pasta choices were excellent. Secluded to avoid traffic noise. Both fish selections were also very good. Local wine selections just OK

This was possibly one of the worst Italian meals we have ever eaten. We both had "fresh fish from the Lake" which had been grilled to extinction

Very nice family run restaurant with a simple but good menu which was decent value for money. the homemade pasta was particularly good and we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

A rather sad experience- set back from the main road and nothing particularly interesting to bring you back. The service was painfully slow and the dining room so silent, as my wife said "you could hear a pin drop and then bounce five times". Food was okay as nutrition but nothing compelling insofar as flavor, presentation, etc..

We were a party of six and went here for dinner. The place was dead and very clinically decorated, besides the obligatory tables and chairs, it did not feature much of decorations or ambience. They didn't even play any music! The waitress was as charming as a piece of paper and just seemed like she'd rather stayed at home, or... More

Trattoria del Prato is set back slightly from the main road, which is the shame as many may miss out on it. This is an absolutely lovely find. I visited in September with my husband, when we were there for our wedding. We took along his best man, his partner and their 4 year old son and we were all... More
