We luckily hit on the Red & White on a trip to visit the Villa Carlotta in Tremezzo. We stopped by for a morning coffee and came back for lunch. We both ate lasagne which was home made and delicious and so filling that had had to leave about a third. Service was very friendly and it has a location... More

Definitely the pick of the bunch in Tremezzo. Staff were fantastic, and Alex the owner/chef does simple food fantastically, with surprisingly the best omelette I've ever had!(and I've had plenty!) Also, with one of the best cappuccino in Italy, great views, value, and a stacked bar, this place is a must for a repeat visit.

There are several restaurants next to one another in Tremezzo, all are good, but this one had a slight edge. the service was excellent, the food was good and the prices were reasonable. Add to this, the view (although a busy main road during the day, can spoil the view) and you have a very good restaurant. i would recommend.

Only had some wine here but plan to go back for lunch. Very friendly service. Reasonable prices - glass of chianti and prosecco for seven euros -- and actually tasted good. Can't beat the view for the price!!

We made a special effort to come to this café after a gap of eight years (our last visit to Lake Como) Service is immediate and supply even quicker, all with nice smiles --- and even the coffee smiles at you. A substantial menu day and evening and a well-stocked bar. Recommended !!!!!!

During our stay in Tremezzo we ate in the Red & White Wine Bar twice. First time inside where there were quite a few locals eating which is usually a good sign. The décor is café style and the food was authentic Italian cuisine, nothing very fancy but very tasty. They also have an amazing selection of wine. We shared... More

Decent but not spectacular. Friendly service, we both ate in the restaurant and used the take away pizza service.

While visiting lake Como we stopped here to have a quick lunch. This terrace of this roadside cafe is seperated fom the lake by the road, but provides a more reasonably priced lunch than the teracces owned and run by the 'Grand Hotels' along this stretch of lakeside. When coming of the boat ferry from Bellagio we visited Villa Carlotta... More

Classic Italian food. Great selection. Reasonable prices. Can't go wrong. Staff was friendly, our Italian was terrible/ non-existant but they were a great help and very tolerant of our feeble attempts at their language.

We ate here several times during our recent stay to Lake Como. We had lunch and dinner and could not fault any of the dishes we chose. The bruschetta is the best I have ever had. The pizza was delicious. If I had to make a negative comment I would say the ice cream deserts were a little disappointing but... More
