Thanks to the passion, perseverence and the complete dedication from Salvatore Criscuolo, better known as "O Capo" and his lovely unforgotten wife Teresa, the Polisportiva, renamed in "Le Bonta del Capo" is today one of the most popular and appreciated restaurants on the Amalfi Coast. Located in a privileged position, the location appears to be disputed between the intensiv blue of the sea and the brightness of the sky, nestled between lush harmonies of terraced olive groves, vineyards and lemontrees. On the terrace of Donna Teresa, where you have during the sunset the unique feeling to be untited with the horizon, where a deep red paint the nearby island of "Li Galli", directly in front of the "Faraglioni" of the flirtatious Capri, here you will find you enjoying the delicious regional cuisine accompanied by the finest wines of the coast of Amalfi and Sorrento. The timeless pizza contribute to give you a greater sense of being welcome and of the hospitality of Naples. As a reward for your appearance, you will be certainly attracted by the nearby "Punta Vreca", a breathtaking viewpoint in form of a ship overtopped with the tower "Capo del Conca", a natural ancient harbour, a defense post with vice-regal watchtower, designed to curb the invasions of the pirates from the seaside. Surely you do not pass unnoticed a quiet harmonious way in the nearby of the restaurant, which is called "Cinque Essence", meaning for San Alfonso Maria de' Liguori, who named this way during his walks from the monastery Santa Rosa. The monastery is a holy place and the birthplace of the famous and popular puff pastry cake Santarosa. Surrounded by olive, carob, pomegranate, grapes and lemon the bishop was inspired to call it "Cinque Essence". For those who love the sport, there is above the restaurant the possibility to use one of the two multi-purpose courts with artifical turf for football, tennis or volleyball. Also with a playground and entertainment games for the smaller of us. We are waiting for you, here in Conca dei Marini, where we have "In each window the sun and out each window the sea.

This place is so enjoyable that our family of five kept returning the week we were in Amalfi. Off the beaten path, but convenient because they will send a shuttle to pick you up (and bring you back)!! Freshest fish - and delicious pizza break sticks topped with bruschetta placed on table at beginning of each meal. Very reasonably priced... More

We are about to travel again to Amalfi and Conca Dei Marini in particular. This will be our 6th time to Conca. This time we are taking our grown up children to celebrate a "big" birthday for my beautiful wife Carla. We are both very excited to introduce our kids to the people we have come to know as friends... More

The ranking depends on which of our group of four that you ask. Our Amalfi Coast guide recommended this restaurant and we were glad we trusted his opinion. The restaurant overlooks the coast; we chose to sit outside. We shared all but entrees and the ricotta ravioli with lemon sauce was the hands down winner. Apparently, this is the chef's... More

We had one of our best meals in Italy at this restaurant. Even if the food had been only adequate the view would have made the visit spectacular! Fortunately the food and service are as good as the view. The chef came out and planned a meal for one of our party who has dietary restrictions and went out of... More

We were caught off guard on a Sunday with no food and no busses running, our B&B host arranged a shuttle to Le Bonta del Capo. We had no idea what we were in for, but with little else to do with no car, we hopped in the shuttle and hoped for the best. The best is what we had!!... More

our tour guide took us here and what a wonderful experience! Antipasto, lemon ravioli-OMG. The ravioli was to die for. Wish we could have had more than one meal there. Would love the recipe for the lemon ravioli! Great views also. Made us feel like family with limoncello at the end of our meal.

Wow! While the views from this restaurant are incredible, the food and service really steal the show! I am allergic to gluten and they ensured that I not only had gluten free food but a great meal full of flavor! The staff was very accomodating and friendly. My family and I found this dining experience to be a highlight of... More

Recommended by our B&B host as easily the best restaurant in Conca dei Marini. Catered for mainly locals, the menu is extensive, authentic and very affordable. My boyfriend and I each had a pasta dish and shared three vegetable side dishes and with drinks came to EUR 33. Go if you are in the area. I am told that it... More
