Long story short, it has been 2 years since we ate here and we are still dreaming about our next visit to The Amalfi Coast just so we can eat the Spaghetti e Zucchini in this restaurant! We also enjoyed the Fried Calamari very much. My husband and I liked it so much that we ordered round two of both... More

They know how to cook the sea food, but the service and the other not so good. We ordered 2 dishes only to find out that the kitchen ran out of them. It's the best place near the beach.

Great small beach, lots of steps to get to but lovely! Family run for years with a history of celebrity guests. Great as you sit on the beach front.

We visited La Tonnarella two years ago a few times and really enjoyed the place. Actually La Tonnarella was the reason to stay at Conca dei Marina this time (instead of Positano). It was a surprise (not a pleasant one) what had happened in two years. Prices have been doubled and the food..... hmm.... not as great like it was... More

Amazing location, Wonderful, friendly, helpful staff, and delicious home-cooked fresh simple food. One day i mentioned zucchini flowers, the next we arrived for lunch and they'd made some flower fritters just for us! The fish soup is the best, but don't expect soup! It's an amazing array of freshly caught beautifully cooked mixture of fish with a tomato and garlic... More

I booked many months ago via email. i confirmed the morning of the lunch with trepedation. All fine! When we arrived (after walking down 300 steps from the road), though the restaurant was full, our table for 10 was waiting for us, right at the front of the restaurant. The restaurant was buzzing with italian families but we were well... More

Nestled in a small cove in Conca Dei Marini, this was THE standout restaurant of our week on the Amalfi coast. The food was incredible and beyond fresh at this beachfront trattoria; carpaccio di tonno and spigola, fried sardines, achiuge, calamari, razor clams, shrimp, amazing homemade scialatielli with mussels and clams, linguini with zucchini, pancetta and parmigiana, just to name... We went here as a group of ten and were happily seated out in the open air on the beach very quickly. The waitresses were very casual and lovely which made it feel more homely and relaxing. We ordered a combination of pastas and seafood, the mussels were great, gnocchi was amazing and soft, and the penne with eggplant and... More

I sail here around all times for holidays, and I think this is the best resto in Amalfi. The place is in a sheltered bay, just behind Capo Conca, 2nm W from Amalfi, you'll find moorings buoy for free and a guy with a small boat as taxiboat for landing. So don't worry about your dinghy! On land: tables on... More

Excellent family run restaurant in picturesque bay with two other restaurants.  The night we went, the other two restaurants had no business while Tonnarella was putting extra tables out on the beach.  The food is trattoria-style traditional Italian - simple fare with great ingredients.  The two standouts - bruschetta was fantastic with some of the sweetest cherry tomatoes ever and...
