Highly effective package

We were staying within walking distance of Atrani and made two successful visits to A Paranza. Located in what was a small fishing village literally under the Amalfi coast road it is essentially a seafood restaurant. Both meals we ate there were very good with the Sunday lunch especially so. During our honeymoon, my wife and I went to A Paranza on the recommendation of an Italian restaurant owner who we know in New York. After our meal, we were glad we ate here, as it was our favorite dinner of our entire trip. The comfortable and elegant dining room is not stuffy, but still gives an upscale feel. The... More

had high expectations as it was recommended to me by a friend who is very experienced with Italian food and after reading the reviews. Well, it was a bit disappointing. The first dishes were nice. Fo main course, the fish of both my friends were so so, my jumbo shrimps were OK, and the muscle soup was not a soup,... More

One of my favourite places to eat on the Amalfi Coast is this eponimus eatery. If you are travelling by car, you may find a sign at the entrance to town saying "the town is full".... if you have booked at A'Paranza, then keep their phone number handy and give them a call - they will most likely be able... We ate in this lovely restaurant twice during our 6 day visit to Atrani. Tucked away from the square, the food and wine was the main attraction. Our host was passionate about his cooking, and helped us choose a good wine to enjoy with our delicious fish. We had different dishes each night, and the quality was great. More expensive... More

If you like seafood - try everything. Our set course menu was fantastic for me... my wife, not as much. There's little on the menu for unadventurous non-seafood loving folk. All that said, we arrived on a quiet night and service was great as a result. I recommend A. Paranza over the touristy places in Amalfi, any night.

I agree whole heartedly with the last review. Poor service and a pushy sales pitch to get you to order quickly so they can turn tables. They were extremely reluctant to give us a menu and seemed shocked when we didn't want what they suggested. 8 of us stayed in the area and this meal was meant to be the... More

We love the amalfi coast and we go almost every year. I had this restaurant on my list for some time as it has been recommended to me by friends and the reviews on this website were superb. This year we finally decided to go there from positano where we staying. I am not giving a "below average" score just... More

Excellent food, prepared and served as a work of art. Owner and staff welcoming, friendly and really a treat to eat in this little restaurant. No view, but the food and ambience certainly make up for that!!

We went to A Paranza on our first night in Atrani. The food and service were both excellent. Had a lovely local white wine and the freshest seafood that had been caught that day! I loved the fact that it was a hidden gem and full of local people from Atrani, Amalfi town and Ravello. I wish we could have... More
