Surprise!

We wandered along a desolote beachfront trying to imagine how different the area must be in full holiday season. With very few people about and several empty restaurants it wasn't the easiest decision on where to eat other than our daughter wanted calamari. Have to say we were surprised and... read more

As said above, it was perfectly delicious! I had deep fried calamari rings (probably the best I've ever had!), seafood salad and tried a selection of seafood starters. Absolutely amazing! Portions are big - you won't find yourself starving after the dinner. The food is perfectly fresh and melting in your mouth (as much as seafood can actually melt). The... More

The seafood was fantastic, service was good and the waitress spoke good English and recommended the local wine which was fantastic €20 a bottle, better than some of the €40+ wine we have been drinking. Recommend this restaurant if you love good well cooked seafood.

Wonderful cooked food, beautiful disposed and big portions. My favour is the grilled tunafish with potatoes baked in the oven and a mixed sallad. Ask for a good, local wine and complete the meal with one of the desserts - a pizza di galetti or a ricotta pistaccio. Mmmm! The restaurang is driven by a very nice couple and the... More

We are just looking for a not so touristic trap, get to this place by pure coincidence and got one of the best meals in Italy after having dine at great restaurants in Rome.... amazing All of it was exquisite and to die was their eggplant parmigiana... we repeated the dish, it was that good!. We even witnessed the fight... More

My wife and I were honeymooning in Europe all throughout the month of September in 2011. Nearing the end of September, we found ourselves in Vietri. Italy was our third country and Vietri must of been our 7th city in last two and half weeks. You can imagine how tired we were from travelling but also from being targeted by... More

Pascalo, just one of those wonderfull restaurants one loves to find in Italy. Pascal himself was there, ready to explain the food, just a great guy and a great cook. Our boys loved it and we went back the next nice for more. Thank you Pascal! Great value too; very well priced for the style of cooking.

I relocated to Vietri sul Mare just days ago and was without a car so I went walking to look for a place to eat. Maria, the wife of the owner, speaks several languages and is very nice and friendly. Manuel, who works as a waiter/busboy was also extremely friendly. I ate food recommended by them to me and I... More

My husband, who is from the Amalfi coast, and I had lunch at Pascalo on the basis of the solid recommendations on Trip Advisor last week. We have lived abroad for some years and enjoy trying out new places on the coast we may have never heard of. Pascalo, I am afraid, was a big disappointment. The service, as previous... More

We had a full corse dinner with three dishes and all wine and water included. The food was all seafood, excellent taste and a lot of food, The wine was perfect with the food, and there was plenty of botled water to drink. All in all it cost 20 Euro/person.
