This is the second time we have eaten at this friendly restaurant. Tucked away up a side street in beautiful Old Rhodes Town. We made a point of eating lunch here during a day trip. My mousaka was delicious, served hot and very tasty. My husbands Greek plate was first class. We shared a Greek salad and washed the lot... More

The waiter made recommendations which were perfect, both for food and wine. We are real foodies, and this did not disappoint. The father and son team were warm and friendly and helpful. The building is ancient and atmospheric - ask about the history. It is tucked away so not frantic. You don't feel that this is "touristy". GO.

Ate the best gyros ever here (as a snack even though it was not on the menu; we were told we could have anything we wanted) Great atmosphere, friendly staff. Nice wine.

Very friendly and very kind staff&boss. We were very well welcomed even though we had only two small dishes as lunch for three people. Food especially calamari is top quality for a fan. Outstanding spot in Rhodes ... Thanks Dimitri:)

Tucked away up a side alley upon the very busy main Sokratous street of Rhodes Old Town we originally had a quick drink during the day before deciding to come back in the evening. It was a good decision with a unique old Greek charm about the place, excellent home cooked food and very friendly service. The only suprise was... More

The location away from the humdrum of the village squares is an attraction in itself. However, it was the food to which one goes to a restaurant. We wanted to commence this vacation with Greek basics - moussaka and calamari combined with of course a Greek salad. If a restaurant can't get this right then there is no where else... More

We found this place by chance and just said why not to have lunch, as I had crazy idea of trying something real Greek. The first time I've taken Mousakas because everyone said you must have a try of this food and I fell in love with it. After for about a week we were coming and tasting something new... More

We had a good meal with my husband, we ordered stifado and gyros it was very good especially the Gyros was fantastic with Tzatziki and salad. After we had a coctail Mojito , nice experience , they actually made the Mojito from a plant. Friendly staff and nice environment in value for money prices

Stopped for lunch & ordered Chicken Gyros. More skin than chicken, did comment to waiter & was told that chicken came with skin!! Very disappointed |& felt completely ripped off.

Chanced upon this place on a day trip to the Old Town. Set quietly away from the bustle of Sokratour str, this Taverna was a gem of a find. We ate our way through feta cheese baked in foil with herbs and a small amount of tomato, a superb vegetarian greek plate. and delicious baked peppers and tomatoes. A side... More
