Great location, lovely people, good food just let down by the Proprietor smoking not only in the restaurant but also in the kitchen, although I have rated it very good I would not return due to the smoking issue.

absolutely OK. friendly clean prompt service - food very basic - the kids loved it. We had some greek stuff (stuffed vine leaves, tzaziki) and some "international" (spaghetti bolognese) - everyone was happy. prices reasonable for the area

Whilst out for a long walk we were considering how far it would be to walk into Rhodes Town. Having walked what seemed pretty far in the midday sun, we came upon Restaurant Olypmias and, realising how hungry and thirsty we were, decided on an unplanned pitstop for lunch. A nice friendly welcome (common to all restaurants it seems, although... More

Great place to stop for a casual bite to eat. We were greeted warmly and got to choose from a multitude of dishes and mezzes. It was a bit off putting seeing the owner smoking in the kitchen but the food was some of the tastiest we'd eaten. We had a mezze meal of meatballs, moussaka and vegetables, each one... More

Greek salad, Greek Mixed Plate and half bottle dry white wine. About €21 and served by Greek Waiter who was friendly. Watched the kite surfers, people walking past and the passing traffic. All in the open with a breeze and in the shade. Great hour.

A guidebook says that if a greek calls you his friend he means it: Vaios calls me that. I ate here in 94 on my first visit to Ixia and came back to find it was still there. Great welcome, great food and great service and all at a reasonable price. Moussaka and ommeletes are great. A word of advice;... More

We ate here a number of times during our holiday, there was a very good choice of food, it was all very good and not expensive. The owner, Vaios, and his wife made us feel very welcome, it was such a shame it was the end of the season and therefore quiet.

The owners were incredibly friendly and the food was great. Much better than in more expensive places nearer Rhodes Town. The Moussaka was a favourite! We actually went back a number of times as it was the best place that we found.

The food here was superb, and the owner Vaios could not have been more genuine and helpful. It was a real delight to eat here and we returned! He made us feel very welcome, remembered us and had a good crack. The food was very well presented, tasted great and there was a relaxed and happy atmosphere. Highly recommended.

This is Vaios's greeting to customers & it's very true. He is an excellent restaurant host & made us feel so welcome each time we went in. We stayed at the Atrium but found it soul- less (and very expensive) and to be honest the food at the Olympias was much nicer, half the price and the atmosphere was wonderful.... More
