Ahhhh, heaven is a place like Tamam!

A late evening arrival in Rhodes saw us seeking sustenance and the Tamam was the first place we found open. Still in “flight mode” we stepped inside to be warmly greeted and made to feel special by staff going out of their way to treat two pensioners like royalty. We just returned from another week in Rhodes, and of course had to return to the amazing Tamam. Andreas and Maria (the owners - he will take care of you all night and she will cook for you) just returned from their winter break and during that time they managed to spruce the place up (like every year) and add... A visit to Tamam is a must if you are looking for culinary delights of freshly cooked food, nice friendly atmosphere, looked after by our host Andreas and his lovely family of staff. It was a first time visit for two of our friends who thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience, dining at its best. We started with warm pita bread... More

We just returned from a wonderful week in Rhodes. The place was just waking up from the off season when we left. Not many of the highly rated restaurants were open yet. Fortunately for us, Tamam was! We had 3 magnificent dinners here during our week. EVERYTHING was perfect. The atmosphere, the service, the food, the extra touches on everything... More

First time you visit this restaurant the food and atmosphere is very good. Try eating here 2-3 times during your stay and the magic is slightly gone. The staff use same stories every time you visit not knowing we heard the same story yesterday. "My mother made this dessert especially for you" and that its on the house. Day after... More

There is nothing bad about this restaurant. The food is fantastic, and the menu has something for everyone. I had the prawns with ouzo and orange and highly recommend it. We also had the Tamam salad, simply gorgeous! The wine was fantastic, and the complimentary ice cream was the perfect ending to the meal. What made it even more wonderful... More

We did get there by accident, were looking for another restaurant. We were warmly and funny welcomed by the owner, who is Rhodian, of course, we are Germans.... So a bit of trash talk there. The Syrah house wine is very good. The greek salad is tasty. The rolled eggplants come with a fine tomato sauce, it is recommended by... More

I traveled with friends and family. We went to Tamam due to the reviews in TA, and found out they were all accurate! The food was outstanding - traditional Greek dishes and international cuisine served in original, beautiful ways; The hospitality was warm and welcoming - Andreas (the owner) and his daughters (the wonderful waitresses) kept checking that we enjoyed... First... The food. We were in Rhodus for a week and tried different restaurant every lunch and dinner. This really was the best quality tasty food we have had this whole week, you can simply feel the fresh, only natural ingredients and the thought put to every dish. We took 3 starters: Brocolli soup (baby loved it), mushrooms in Lemon,... More
