Lovely seafood restaurant

Lonely Planet guided us to the Nireas Restaurant and we weren't disappointed. The restaurant has a nice ambiente and is in a calm area, which is sparse in Rhodos City. We can recommend the prawns and the scallops. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would defintely come back to the Nireas when... read more

We have dined two times in this fantastic restaurant. This is a family restaurant and a little bit far from the crawded old town restaurants. The food are very well prepared and served. The staff are very helpfull and kind. The atmosphere is fantastic. There are lots of cats, a Jasemine tree and nice people at Nireas. Symi style shrimps,... More

On the waterfront in Rhodes between old and new towns is a row of cafes / eaterys if you can get by the 'encourages' then you may find one which serve good food and even better coffee, my how I miss my Starbucks well not much actually as Nireas provides a very decent coffee, acceptable food and wine and a... Nireas is by far the best restaurant you can go to in Rhodes. In a place full of restaurants, which have 60 page menus, pictures of food by the door and french fries as a side order to everything, Nireas offers authentic, fresh, simple food with a ton of flavour and taste. I highly recommend the Greek salad and the... More

The staff and atmosphere here are second to none - we ordered some of the fresh fish (caught on the day) grilled - it was absolutely amazing!! The limencello at the end of the night - on the house - was fantastic!! Try and book a table around 9PM (if you eat late) - its gets very busy!!

Really enjoyed dining at this restaurant. The food was very good, reasonably priced and the staff were friendly and approachable. We went bak here a couple of times. The location is great, very easy to find and there are a few low-key bars nearby if you fancy a pre or post-dinner drink.

Visited Rhodes the past 5 years, discovered Nireas on our first visit and have re-visited at least once each time we have returned. In fact, have left our all inclusive hotel, just to return here! Excellent food, particularly the fish, with an atmosphere unique and a lovely, keen, enthusiastic host who is attentive and friendly and has an attention to... More

The owner is great, always a big welcome from him. The food is made to order from the freshest ingredients, everything is delicious. The setting is a beautiful, tranquil, leafy square away from the tourist masses.
