We stayed in an apartment near by and regularly went to Koukos to pick up fresh Spanokopita and also some of the best apple pies I have eaten , great food and prices .

I live in Athens and eat at tavernas all the time, especially those that serve "magerefta" or cooked traditional meals. This bakery / taverna has a fun decor and attentive staff, and though the food was well priced and inexpensive, it was average. I would definitely go again, and perhaps order differently.

Located on the lively pedestrian street of Mandilara, we enjoyed the outdoor seating as there was lots of activity on this street. This restaurant is bigger than what it looks like with lots of cozy little rooms and a unique Mediterranean decor. Great as a pit stop for coffee or if time permits, try some delicious Greek cuisine. Affordable prices... More

Koykos is one of those great quirky places that satisfy your craving to eat delicious local food with the locals. Spread over several small cozy rooms, the menu is more about good Greek home cooking than the typical souvlaki, moussaka offering. The large number of native Rhodians eating here is testament to its value and quality. We ate here twice... More

If you want to experience a Greek atmosphere, visit Koukos for a drink or a meal. Amazing design, friendly staff and good prices and services. In summer and in autumn, you may want to sit outside.

One of the few places without pictures of food outside. Bit of a rabbit warren inside with lots of small interconnected rooms making it feel like being in someone's house rather than a restaurant which was nice. Good selection of dishes to cater for all tastes. Made the mistake of ordering a selection of appetizers but was not made aware... More

Excellent food, fun staff and a great atmosphere. This restaurant is tellingly full of Rhodians and has a lovely vibe. We sat for hours on the roof terrace. Be sure to visit Lukamamma round the corner too.
