Staff is kind, fast. Food is very well prepared. They have good salads and pitas. The place is cute, made in Greek style. You should try it!!!

If you're looking for delicious food, smiled and friendly staff, you have to visit Kalderimi. Our favourite meal is, of course, traditional pita. We had it...hmmmm...every night :) We didn't stay in Petra, but dinner in Kalderimi was inevitable! You can even ask the locals, only one answer you'll get: everything is good, Kladerimi is best!:) Once more - great... More

The pita's are the perfect lunch. Not too big and good for takeaway as well. Prices from 2,5-3,5€ (for the pita's) will make this your cheapest and tastiest meal in town. Try it.

I have eaten Girous in many places in Greece and around the world at Greek restaurants and nothing compares to these! They are delicious! We have visited Petra many times and we are addicted to these Girous. They are excellent quality, real meat! I would highly recommend you try the chicken and pork one!!!! Oh and the sausages are delicious... More

Everything from the staff to the typical greek food is outstanding. Everyone who visits Petra should eat here. Gyros, souvlaki, saganaki -to me that's the best!

We visited Kalderimi for lunch. Firstly ambiance of the restaurant impresses us. It was beautifed with pretty stuffes. We ordered beef and lamb meat which are cooked perfect. They are soft, not dried and delicious. The foods became delicious with various spieces. However i cant imagine "greek cuisine" without seafood. I searched seafood in the menu, and didnt find anything.... More

We tried the Kalderimi because it always seemed to be busy so we assumed we would get a good meal. How wrong we were. Between us we ordered pork and chicken souvlakis which turned out to be inedible - the meat was nothing but fat and gristle which even the cats turned their noses up at. I gather the takeaway... Dinner here was lovely but this place comes into it's own for lunch. Their filled pittas are to die for. The Kaderimi has feta cheese in which melts to perfection and mixes with the succulent pork. Don't think that gyros are just kebabs - they aren't. They are nothing like UK kebabs and you must try one from here whilst... More
