Very Enjoyable

My wife and I had few nights eating in here and were never disappointed. Good food, attentive and pleasant service at a decent price. Will be going back in June. You also get a great view of the sunset, as its right on the cliffs overlooking the Caldera.

Four of us had lunch at this most marvelous restaurant with inside and outside dining. It was a bit off the tourist track. Their food was one of the best of our 2 month trip. Greek salad had fragrant/tasty tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, green pepper, onion, capers and feta cheese. Fresh green salad with mixed veggies, pine nuts, walnuts, peas, Gruyere... More

This place was highly recommended for traditional Greek food by our hotel. It is so crowded and full every night, and we understood why. The service could be a bit snobbish in the beginning (no all full, come back like tmr, cannot wait...), but when we finally booked a reservation, the food was super good. The musaka is their signature... More

Aktaion is highly recommended by the locals. According to them, Aktaion had been operating for a long time serving traditional Greek Cuisine on the island. It is better to make reservation as there are always many customers in the restaurant. We had tried their traditional Greek pork cuisine and mussels. It was so tantalizing. The rose wine is another must... More

Delicious and fresh vegetables, meat and fish. Just wonderfully prepared. Ask for the daily special but everything is great.

Early October 2015 we went to Santorini for a week long break. We were staying in Firostefani about 2 minutes walking from the taverna Aktaion. We didn't know about this taverna beforehand but every evening we found it completely full. We had a gut feeling that this taverna must be a real good one as no seat remains empty in... More

Lorna of traditional dishes with some interesting takes on some others. My favorites are the zucchini pie/quiche and fish fillet. Restaurant is small but charming. Seating is inside and out. Prices are reasonable.

We were directed to this restaurant by the staff at our hotel that was in throwing distance of the restaurant. They raved they had the best food and moderate pricing to boot! The only issue was it being small and they suggested they make a reservation for us. Once we arrived we could see why. The restaurant is a quaint... More

Traditional Greek dishes with a respectfully creative spin. Unbelievable mousaka. Small restaurant in charming location close to a wonderful caldera view. If we had discovered this place earlier, we would have dined there every evening. Not to be missed!

The food here is excellent!! This is a must-try for anyone who is going to visit Santorini. From the moment I had my first bite, I was full of praises of the food. Service was good! Reservation is necessary.
