Seems like to eat at granmamanopulos kitchen. Cosy and genuine. Nice hosts, give it a try and let your tastes explore greek cuisine under a grape pergola (good in windy days). Enjoy!!

My mum and I loved Barko so much we went back a second time which we don't like doing because we like to try a different place every night whilst on holiday but Barko was an exception!! It has a lovely garden setting and great service. We got the chick pea balls greek salad and oven lamb and it was... More

It's a few minutes walking from the port/center of Adamas, and is in a very pretty garden setting. We were there in the afternoon and were the only ones there. We enjoyed the fish dishes greatly - the swordfish steak was especially good. Like the other reviewers noted, the dishes took a while to be made, but they were delicious... More

we went there for dinner. the place was full, quite busy at 10.30-11 at night and it took them 30 minutes to order and actually get the first dishes, salad, tzatziki, potatoes (oh wait! they never brought the potatoes because they forgot). food was just ok. SMALL PORTIONS but I am saying again, IT TOOK THEM AGES TO BRING THE... More

Even though the restaurant is listed in the travel guides it's not worth the effort going there. We got the recommended dishes - the cheese pies where more or less cheese less, the chick pea balls where tasteless, the tuna, which we were told was fresh, was so over cooked and dry that it was impossible to eat (and of... Gregori has his own stile. The Taverna is lokated few minutes away from the busy harbor in a small garden on the road to chora. The quality is great, the place clean, service nice. Gregori has his own stile. He sings during serving if he feels like it. Greek cooking with different dishes. Always good for a nice parea.

At the back of town this is hard to find but worth the effort. Food is simple and well presented. The soupia dish was a little to saucy often a fault when using the ink of this fish to make the sauce. therwise a pleasant eating experience.

Taverna Barko is a really nice restaurant near the center of Adamas (1 minute by walking). The staff is nice even if they are quite stressed out when it is fully booked. The food is nice as well, it is better to order fish and meat compare to pasta, and the local food is really good (try baked feta). I... More
