Set in a lovely spot with nice views of the town and a "market menu" written on blackboard, this place seems just right in the touristy town of Roussillon. Alas, the food does not live up to the expected standard: it's very basic (duck breast/lamb shank served with some potato puree and 2 roasted cherry tomatoes, tagliatelle with pesto &... More

Set in the 'middle of the road' with billowing muslin drapes and romantic lighting, this restaurant was a delight. You feel as if you are part of a local dinner party surrounded by the ochre buildings of Roussillon. The food was great- prawns and fillet perfect cooked with great presentation on slate plates.

Had lunch here on a busy market day and it was lovely. The formule was well priced and started with a cured duck breast salad, followed by duck confit and a version of tiramisu. Service was good. Food nice and chilled rose wine most agreeable. This little place is just off the centre so away from stupid tourists! Sorry, but... More

We had a great time eating outside looking at the beautiful view. The food was good and fairly sophisticated. Portions were not huge, but this wasn't a problem since we've been eating so much on this trip. Service was good (granted we were off season). Safe option when in Roussillon.

We were with a tour and only had half an hours' time for lunch. The ladies in this small restuarant assured us that there was enough time if we ordered the set lunch. Yes, they did make it fast and the food i.e. chicken drumstick with pasta and salad starter were surprisingly tasty. We sat at the outdoor with a... More

On our Provence-Trip we made a stop in Roussillon which is a very beautiful little village, worth beeing seen. For lunch we went to La Treille which is a very small restaurant in the streets of Roussillon. We had lunch on the terrace/street with a very nice ambieance having the old houses around us. The food we got was excellent... More

The food we had here was tasty & full of flavour. Selection is good, and presentation is creative. The restaurant claims to use local produce from the town's market. We ordered 1 filet de boeuf & 1 tagliatelles pesto for 43 euros; slightly overpriced in my opinion.

This was a delightful surprising stop. We had not intended to eat in Rousillion but the menu was appetising, were not disappointed. The food delicious, service attentive, location great. Only downside - no shade, and it was very hot for April 2011 (!)

Without checking trip advisor at all, I stumbled upon this place during an afternoon stop in roussillon. The lunch was the best food in Provence. I had beef kebabs and my friend had the trio of tomatoes. It was the most unique way to serve food I have seen since being here in Provence for a week. The tomatoes were... More

La treuille has very limited seating and so reservation is a must. The food is traditional french with some sprinkling of creativity. The dishes, bet it apetizers, entrees or deserts are quite expensive and you get limited relief by picking the fixed menu as the savings are marginal. The service is slow, mostly due to the limited staff. However, the... More
