Gorgeous little restaurant in a super quaint location by the ramparts. Home made soup (choice of around 4 soups) with quiche or Flamiche (a more shallow based savoury tart) - take heed the Flamiche are huge! We had a bowl of soup & Flamiche which was more than plenty & cost 11.50 euros per person. Excellent value for money for... More

Down by the ramparts, this converted house is now a favorite lunch time venue run by the owner of the Coquempot. Good soups, bread and Flemish style snacks. The day we went there was a large party of Flemish visitors who were noisy but enjoying their food. Fortunately, we had booked or we would have been turned away

We had lunch here and thoroughly enjoyed the soups, tartine, quiche and flamiche. Nice place, next to the city walls. A recommended place for a filling lunch?

When we last visited Montreuil in February, although this restaurant was closed (it was a Tuesday), the friendly owner showed us round. This time we were in luck, it was open for business! As we entered, 3 of the kitchen staff were seated around the fire peeling carrots, none of this catering pack, pre-prepared stuff here! My wife and I... More

We stumbled upon this restaurant while exploring the ramparts of Montreuil-sur-Mer. We had soup, quiche and blond beer. An excellent combination. €30 for 2 - fantastic value. Thoroughly recommended.

We went here for dinner and had a flamiches each, mine with mushrooms and my wife's cheese and chicory. Both were delicious freshly cooked and quickly served. We complemented with a bottle of Cot de Rhone red wine. They were filling and we did not need either a starter or sweet. Add to this the service was friendly, helpful and... More

with the sun shining, it was a joy to sit outside and enjoy a superb lunch, with free flowing bread to ensure that we were very happy to have dropped in for lunch

We ate in the cobbled street outside the restaurant. We had the celeriac and hazelnut soup, which was really good. I opted for charcuterie on the side, which was cooked ham, cured ham, terrine and garlic sausage, with a little salad an cornichons. With the ample warm bread and a glass of draught beer, this really hit the spot. I... More

I had been recommended to this restaurant by a friend, who stumbled upon it a couple of months ago. My wife and I called in there Friday lunchtime on route to Le Touquet. You can eat out front, or in the restaurant or also in the terraced garden backing out onto the ramparts. The waitress brought out a blackboard listing... More

Visited just for soup. Very good soup and very good service. We chose the Tomato and Basil. Pleasant surroundings and close to The Remparts.
