Good food and very good value

We had the 3 courses for 25 Euro, their mid-range set meal – the 15 Euro meal is a lunchtime special. Had we not had a substantial lunch, we would probably have tried the 6 course ‘Le Plaisir’ for 35 Euro. It could have been excellent but bits here and there let it down. For example, the Middle-cut... read more

Have eaten here three or four times and, although the patron is very charming and helpful, the service was not as good and the food was a little disappointing.

A group of 8 of us went here for dinner, started with a cool drink followed by an 'amuse bouche' on the square in front. Inside is an attractive modern restaurant with an E25 and an E35 menu, both with a good choice and a very reasonable a la carte option with some wonderful dishes: the asparagus and the oysters... Visited this town a number of times and each restaurant is of excellent quality, we found this restaurant to be a cut above, the food is absolutely fantastic and good value. Nice clean extremely well presented food. Most certainly will return on our next visit.

Good location but they were over stretched with long waits between courses. Enjoyed the food but not that remarkable.

Absolutely top quality food with top quality service. Started with an amuse bouche that was a taste sensation. Followed by langoustine and shellfish risotto - fabulous. Granita to cleanse the palate & then a chocolate fondant with lavender ice cream. Absolutely sensational. Two of us, a bottle of wine and all for €80. One of the best meals we have... More

We went to Le Clos des Capucins on the recommendation of the receptionist at our hotel. It has a light and airy bar and dining room that looks out onto the square. It wasn't particularly busy when we were there on a Tuesday night but it still had a nice atmosphere. The food was everything you'd expect from a restaurant... More

Centrally situated always seemingly busy we enjoyed our visit. Not haute cuisine but not far off and as it is in the middle of town enjoy the crowded ambience for what it is!

Went with friends for Wine Society anniversary meal and enjoyed the evening despite missing out on the foie gras terrine (was there gluten in it?) and being presented instead with a slice of 'naked' foie gras which is too rich for anyone, I'd say. Quite tasteless too, despite a few grains of salt being sprinkled on it. The sea bass... More
