Very good indeed

We visited in December when the restaurant was perhaps half full, which was great for us as I like space and privacy, but I can see the banquet style seating would mean shared tables at busy times. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, which was a little different to the norm. If you like huge plates... read more

Froggy's is a treat - lovely building, lovely tables, unusual menu. Brilliant service. One of the best meals we've ever had in Montreuil. We will be back

We went here with another couple. The food is quite good but our lamb was extremely fatty and they give it to you on a tiny place for some bizarre reason. One of the staff was very professional, I suspect she may well be the owner. The other female member resembled a bulldog chewing on a wasp. I really do... More

My meat eating husband was really keen to eat here but I was a bit reluctant. We stayed at Maison 76 and the proprietor booked our table and explained I didn't eat meat or fish. We both had a fabulous supper, ambiance and service to match. The plates on the adjoining tables looked equally stunning. Great!

I'm giving it a star for the setting, in a picturesque alleyway off the main square of Montreuil. It was downhill from there. "Have you booked?" No, we hadn't, so were unenthusiastically offered a tiny table for two. By the time we left, no more than 30% of the tables were occupied. Only stools to sit on, and so close... More

We booked for dinner after seeing pictures on their website, and reading so many good reviews. Both the ambience and the food were disappointing. The roast potatoes were good, but a bowl of lettuce is a strange accompaniment to roast meat, and seemed to be served with all choices. The wine was excellent, but expensive. The staff were friendly and... More

Food was great especially for my boyfriend who is a meat fish/eater. It was great they were accommodating to myself as a vegetarian (no fish/meat), as there were no vegetarian mains listed on the menu itself, so the chef made a lovely fresh salad especially for me. Instead of sitting on your own table (although I'm sure this can be... More

Dined here on a Sunday evening - the place was pretty well full. Seats, benches or stools, are rather uncomfortable. No written menus on the table, so the place has a proliferation of handwritten chalkboards all over the walls, one of which will be brought your table. Basic pricing concept is straightforward, but is confused by the various supplements for... More

First visit to this charming little restaurant. Unusual menu, based around grilled meats. Excellent starters, the mushroom creme is just fab. A little disappointed with the suckling pig, but everything else was great. Good value

12 months ago we had a brilliant meal here. You can see my review onTripadvisor. We booked dinner here on the 29th October however the booking was cancelled 90 minutes beforehand as I had had the temerity to criticise the steaks we had been served in Anecdote, the sister eatery in the town. We had to take our chances without... More
