Good food cooked on the grill

Busy crowded little restaurant specialising in meats and fish cooked on the grill. Bench style seats at rectangular tables which you might share with other visitors. Good range of starters and desserts and excellent quality meats. Quick friendly service - this is not a place to linger, but good... read more

Tasty food at a friendly place owned by a Michelin star chef whose restaurant is nearby. All meats cooked on a spit, very good and a wonderful ambulance, it was buzzing very quickly

This is a very informal restaurant that serves some excellent meat dishes and is very good value for money.

Meals were pretty basic - fries and salad with various options of meat. The meat was delicious, but fries and salad were unimaginative.

We were staying at the 2bis chambres d'hôtes (run by the same people), and chose Froggy's Tavern over La Grenoullière which is also run by the same people, but fine dining. I know they're not comparable per se, but it depends what kind of mood you're in for food. We were the first to arrive, and started to wonder if... More

When asked where I would like to go for lunch on my birthday, Froggy's was my choice even though we live in UK. We absolutely love the place for its ambience and delicious food. Staff always friendly and helpful, can't wait to go back. Soon going to Montreuil for to weeks rather than just a daytrip. Table already booked!

The froggies tavern is a modern restaurant, it has a nice menu and looks quite inviting. The staff were not over friendly and did not ask us if we needed help or explain the menus at all. (all in French and some in our group did not speak much French). all in all the food was quite acceptable. although I... More

The décor is very contemporary. Relaxing. Watching the rotisserie cooking the wonderful meals (those that can be cooked in this style, of course) on unusual and new age vertical, gas burners. The result is flavour, moistness and tender. Wow.

This restaurant is very popular with tourists and locals which is generally a good sign. The food is excellent and the service is quick and efficient despite us being in a large group of 10 or 12 people. The atmosphere in the restaurant great although due to its popularity can be a little noisy for some. This is probably not... More

After a walk round the charming town lunch was sort.happening upon this quaint bistro we were pleasantly surprised. Modern twists to French bistro classics. Serve very good, food excellent and magnificent choice of both local and national wines.the panna cotta with rhubarb is a sensation not to be missed
