I went for dinner with friends. Vanessa is one of the happiest and nicest waiters in the area and her welcome was an excellent start to a very good dinner. I especially enjoyed the raw tuna and the "croquetas". There are many restaurants in Santa Teresa but in my opinion El Rey Patricio is definitely among the top ones.

This was one of our favorite restaurants in Santa Teresa. Vanessa is wonderful and very helpful. The tapas are delicious as is the fish we had sea bass. They are located just past the main town of Santa Teresa on the way to play Hermosa and have a wonderful view of the stars in the evening. Sangria was also delicious.... More

Where to start? The food? The service? The ambiance? The service? All it could be mixed together, smooshed out flat, sprinkled with chocolate sprinkles and enjoyed by all! Vanessa greeted us on our first night with the warmth of an old friend while her partner in crime,Ramon, prepared our amazing meals. The imagination that went into every dish was as... More

We ordered a couple of tapas, which were really delicious! As a vegetarian I also appreciated the vegetarian crocquettes (which were really good!) and other vegetarian options. There are also a lot of gluten free tapas.

We had also stayed in the hotel for the week for our honeymoon and took advantage of the "Romantic Pack" and got to enjoy the Tapas tasting. With a recommended bottle of red, which was fabulous, each tapas was exquisite and it was just like a full meal. The atmosphere is perfect if you are looking for something calm with... More

Dining at Tapas is a bit like dining in a magical tress house! The view is amazing, the atmosphere unique, and the service was wonderful. The owner and hostess, Vanessa steered us in all the right directions when ordering our meal. We had perfectly prepared fish caught that day, delicious tapas served with homemade bread, sangria, and homemade dessert. We... More

This restaurant is picturesque, right on the water front and on a hill. The surf is so crazy in santa teresa so you eat to a background soundtrack of the ocean. Its a really magical atmosphere and the food is amazing. Vanessa and Ramon are lovely and from Spain so the food is very authentic and delicious. We loved our... More

We loved our dinner here on our anniversary. Vanessa was such a fun and gracious co-owner and host! She put our bottle of champagne on ice while we took a pre-dinner walk to see the sunset on the beach in front of the restaurant. When we came back she had set up a pretty flower and some hand fans for... More

We went to tapas el Rey a night after Alma and in our mind alma was better. Regardless this place is very nice. The service was great, the food was good and we had a great night overall. The food is indeed very Spanish and very close to authentic Spanish tapas. We missed some local interpretation and better use of... More

We had a wonderful evening at Tapas. We were welcomed and well taken care of by a very outgoing and competent spanish lady, and the dishes were delicious. The trip at night to the restaurant is by itself a great adventure, with hundreds of crabs migrating from the beach to the land over the dirt road. Definitely a night to... More
