My traveling companion and I were thrilled to find this little spot walking distance from our hotel. Spanish tapas and sangria were delicious and affordably priced. Our cute Spanish waitress was an added plus!

The food and service were both incredible. The food was reasonably priced and very tasty, and the service was the best we had on Santa Teresa. The ambiance is also fantastic.

The first give away that this would be a great meal was the Barcelona accent of our server. The tapas were all authentic and well executed. The special pickled mackerel was incredible. The prices for some of the Spanish imported items like Manchego and Iberico are high (justifiably based on location), so I would steer other visitors to things made... More

This was the 2nd time we came to El Rey, the first time was about a year ago when we first encountered Ramon and Vanessa and their wonderful restaurant! We loved their food, personalities, and service so much that we knew they needed to host our wedding rehearsal dinner. They helped us put together an amazing evening, beginning with sunset... More

The tapas here are so delicious! My husband and I ordered the Patatas Bravas, mussels marinara, and the fish and seafood paella. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. We topped it off with some yummy sangrias. The paella had a tomato type sauce with a different flavor than the saffron type I am accustomed to, but it was very good.... More

The owners, both from Barcelona...or at least from there most recently...have created and execute an amazing menu of Spanish tapas. Enjoyed the Iberico ham, Manchego cheese, Tomato salad, Chicken croquettes and Shrimp. The chocolate dessert and Crema Catalan were exquisite. Be prepared for stifling heat, which is common to ALL the restaurants in Santa Teresa. The owners and staff are... More

This restaurant exudes the energy of Spain! The food was fabulous with every Spanish classic on the menu and the sangria was to die for! You will need to take a taxi as the road to the restaurant is dark and dusty. This was my favourite restaurant in Santa Teresa with its high energy/ friendly but casual /mellow vibe.
