Looks a bit shabby, was empty twice when we got there, but the home made pasta is great! Also the pizza was pretty good

Very impressive! Unexpectedly Talented chef! Must try the pizza and the creme brûlée! You would think you're in a 5 star restaurant. Great place! Great food!

A true gem! I'm a certified food snob and so my buddies and I went back here several times in the week we were in Santa Teresa. First, it's rare to go to a restaurant, in any city, that does several different types of cuisine so well. In addition to the local favorites (ceviche, grilled fish), this restaurant makes really... Craving home cooking toward the end of a stay in Costa Rica brought to us Pasta Basta. It turned out to have some of the best home made pasta we've ever had. Their pasta stands up to the best of the North End of Boston. But when you consider the open air tropical surf town atmosphere and vibe and the... More

Had several meals here while in Santa Teresa. This is a great place in the center of town for seafood and pasta with nice people. Don't miss it!

Generous amounts of good food for a more than reasonable price. And don't forget to order any of the many smoothies and juice mixes that are available! You can choose between tables under the roof or under the trees. Also, there is a playground for the kids to play under parents' sight. Nice place, to recommend.

We've visited twice and enjoyed the food on both occasions. The pizza was really good as was the pasta dish I had. The guests we went with also enjoyed their meals. However, service was very slow, so much so I spoke to the manager who said he'd look into it but clearly resented the intrusion. That said, he sent a... More

Service was slow.... food wasn't very good. Seemed like it was frozen food that they reheated... We were in Santa Teresa for three weeks and this was the only bad meal we had....

Sort of a weird vibe, although we went in late August. We were the only people in the restaurant. Easy walk to our hotel. My kids loved having the whole restaurant to themselves so they could dance.
