This cafe is at the far end of Sta Teresa but is worth the walk if you are staying nearby. Their coffee is definitely the best I tasted on this trip. I have been to Sta Teresa a number of times, can't believe this is the first time I ate here. Breakfast is good, generous portions. Definitely on the list... More

My husband and I went here for lunch one day (not knowing it's known for breakfast) and thought it was great. Waitress Mayli said the sandwiches were delicious (I was sort of bummed by this because I wanted a specific recommendation at the time) and they were soooo delicious! We got the veggie sandwich and the turkey ham avocado which... More

Terrible breakfast. Good attention but the food is really not good at all. Sorry but I had to be honest.

Another couple at our hotel recommended Ginger Cafe for breakfast. We gave it a try and were glad we did. The egg, ham and cheese croissant hit the spot and the coffee was great. Service was a bit slow and they didn't have enough staff to clear tables to seat the guests waiting to come in. We cleared our own... More

Had lunch with family and location is right on Main Street with cars, motorcycles and trucks zooming by within a few feet, resulting in much dust and noise. In Costa Rica, the 13% government tax is typically included in menu prices, and sometimes the additional10% service tax is added at the bottom of the bill and sometimes this latter tax... More

Ginger Cafe is a must to visit during your time in Playa Santa Teresa. They have a really friendly staff, a nice outdoor seating area, and free wifi to check in back home.. Plus they make the best coffee, and we liked their croissants even better than the French Bakery which is nearby. :)
