I'm going to let the title speak for itself. For me this was and is a spectacular place to watch the sunset, from high above the canopy, The food however was mediocre at best, comparing it to all the other places we ate in Santa Teresa. The Gaspacho, was watered down with ice cubes, presumably to chill it,, and wasn't... More

Dinner was very nice and the service good, but the real plus here is the view. It is a taxi drive up the mountain and that is an adventure in and of itself. The restaurant has a fabulous view for miles up and down the coast. Wonderful place to watch the sunset, have a nice meal and enjoy a relaxing... More

This place is a good spot to visit - needs a sharp eye to find and is up a steep hill but that's what gives you the view. Worth coming here for a cocktail and food if you can afford. It's a little more dear than some of the other options in town but great for a last night splurge.... More

We have been regulars here for the last 5 years. 2 weeks ago we visited and were a bit disappointed, but it's only fair to report that we decided to give Brisas del Mar another try, and we are really glad we did! The new management have sorted out the cocktails and steak garnishes to perfection. The trip advisor thing... More

Went to this place on recommendation. It was my 40th birthday. But apparently they have new owners since a couple of weeks. The food was such a disappointment. My fish was raw, I had to send it out two times but they could never cook it properly. It was served with over steamed vegetables and dry rice. As an apology... More

The location and atmosphere is very nice, but the food was marginal. Two people in our party got sick from eating the scallops and they overcharged us by double for two of the entrees. They did correct the mistake, but it was disappointing. It was also very expensive for the area. Two entrees, 2 drinks, and 2 appetizers were $80.... More

We went to Brisas Del Mar as a party of six. Two of us came down with food poisoning. Prices were quite inflated compared to what was delivered. We were also over-charged by about $40 -we caught the 'error' before we paid. I'd stay away from this place -the view is great, but that's about it.

If you happen to be traveling to Mal Pais then this is a must. This is by far the best food and restaurant in town. The menu changes nightly with only the freshest food served. The portion are quite large but be sure to try every course--you will not be disappointed. We enjoyed this place so much that we traveled... More

Came on a Thursday night with my 2 teenage daughters and my wife during Green Season. Steep drive up hill- so be prepared! Tenderloin was one of the best I have ever tasted. All entrees were great. Laid back atmosphere. Arrived in the dark - I would definitely come back when it is light out to see sunset. Fun Place/Great... More

I love a place where the menu changes daily. Even better when it is such a small menu it fits on a chalkboard. 3 appetizers and 6 entrees (and several delightful cocktails) every evening and we have eaten here two out of our three nights in Santa Teresa. The seafood is so fresh and the tenderloin one in our party... More
