Excellent view

Loved the view of the gorgeous sunset, but felt the menu was limited. The tapas was delicious, but they were indeed small bites.

Perched high atop a steep road, BDM has soaring unobstructed panoramic ocean views. That's the first thing you notice. Then you notice the music- it has that hip pulsating sound that you hear in 2/3 of the "pseudo hip" restaurants in Miami. I like it, it keeps the energy level up, but some may prefer something slightly more mellow. The... More

First off, the view alone is worth the hike up the steep hill. The scenery is breathtaking and the food is outstanding. We had a wonderful Christmas Day dinner and were able to watch the sun set over the ocean, while enjoying an amazing dinner with my family. This is not a cheap experience, but it's worth every penny!

Covered and uncovered outside dining at the top of the hill set perfect setting to watch the sun set over the ocean. Wasn't too impressed with fried calimari, but the 100% Costa Rican beef tenderloin was on point! Served with blue cheese stuffed acorn squash and veggies. It was my last meal in Santa Theresa and it was unforgettable.

Getting to Brisas del Mar was the first time we had to use our four wheel drive and was a bit hard to find since we arrived after dark, but it was SO worth the effort. Beautiful, candlelit patio with amazing food. I had the seared Tuna and it was incredible! My husband had a pasta with mixed seafood and... More

We were looking forward to a great meal on our last evening in Santa Teresa. In fact, we visited the restaurant during the day to admire the view and had the opportunity to speak with one of the Argentinian servers. He told us about the chef's talents and meal preparations. And, about the famous chocolate dessert...though he also told us... More

We were staying up top at the little hotel so decided we didn't want to make the journey down to town and had breakfast at Brisas. It was okay. Just your tipico Tico breakfast and pricier than town. Maybe dinner is better but I would make the trek to The Bakery if you want a killer breakfast. Beautiful view and... More

We had breakfast and sunset drinks here. Both times we were pleased with what we ordered, but in all honesty, we were somewhat distracted by that incredible view. Awesome place to watch the sun go down with a cocktail.
