We ate at Alma in the off season so we were the only ones there but everyone else was missing out! The owners are a very smart and kind husband and wife. My husband had Argentinian steak and I had Pad Thai with shrimp. Both were excellent. The restaurant is off the road a bit but don't let that deter... More

Alma had been recommended to me by a few friends, so the man and I decided to check it out while he was in town. It's low season at the moment, so it wasn't very busy but the atmosphere was lovely. Candlelit and romantic, with an excellent soundtrack provided by the owner who was also our server. We had a... More

The best sushi I've ever had--just as good or better than Nobu, Tomoe, Koi, etc. Also try Koji's for an amazing but different experience.

There wasn’t much airflow in the restaurant and after a hot day, it was a bit uncomfortable. The lack of airflow made my son feel ill. We are a big family, 8, and chose to sit at their largest table which is just off and open to the kitchen. The owner is from Chile and is really nice. The Tiradito... More

The sushi was warm and I'm pretty sure we got sick off of it. Just make sure it feels/smells fresh. We really liked the place, but when you get sick it's really hard to recommend it. Friendly service though!

Hidden on the back of a narrow entrance you we`ll find true delicious fusion cuisine. Simple, well balanced dishes with fresh local ingredientes. Great rolls, with very creative and unique combinations. The owner and chef, Alma and her staff provided great food as well as excellent service. Wine selection could improve as the ambience for an after dinner drink is... More

We originally planned to go to Kika for dinner, however the owner was on vacation and the restaurant was closed - but to our luck Alma was close by and we wondered in. I am so happy we chose this place! We began with king sized Pisco Sours, served in half litre glasses. Needless to say we only needed 1... More

This restaurant was just divine. The food was delicious and as the cafe was set off the roadside you escape the dust for an evening! Lovely family owned business and great friendly staff. A definate must if you are in the area.

We were looking for a place for diner, and looking at the good TripAdvisor reviews, we have decided to go to Restaurante Alma. Nice atmosphere as you can chat with the chef while she is preparing your sushis :-) Nevertheless, the smell of fried food was very strong and my cloths were smelling badly when we left the place. As... More

Visited for dinner on a steamy April night and it was amazing. Food was excellent, especially the fresh local fish and seafood. The waitress made an effort to give us the fish monger's number so we could get our own fresh catch of the day. Ceviche was exceptional, fresh, properly spiced with a hint of local fruit. They even made... More
