Fun Experience

Cooking on lava rocks was a fun experience, The food was very good. The wait to be served a little long but not terrible. The shrimp cocktail served on a conch shell was a great touch. Definitely worth a visit but for sheer quality of the food go to the sister cafe Chef Rob's.

OK so here is the deal.. Think about great fresh fish or beef cooked to your desired taste because YOU cook it on a 700 degree smooth stone that is placed in front of you on your table. You decide how much garlic butter, salt, pepper and what kind of sauces you like and your meal is done to your... More

Our dinner at Love on the Rocks was the most expensive meal during our time in Belize. The novelty is that your main entree is brought to you in raw-ish form. The food sits on a 700-degree lava slab and it cooks right before your eyes. I wasn't prepared for the amount of "help" that our waiter gave us. It... More

We were a party of seven staying at the Jaguar Reef, so initially we utilized the in house restaurant. When we decided to mix it up, we stumbled across Love on the Rocks - the Manager, Mike, took care of us - no question both Mike and his wife, Leticia are passionate about what they do. The food and more... More

The chef did a superb job at accommodating 3 selective vegetarians. The servers were busy but genuinely caring and helpful.

My friends and I stumbled upon this restaurant and couldn't have been happier that we did! This was one of our favorite meals we had in Hopkins and the staff was unbelievably friendly and accommodating. Even with a table of nine, the service was quick and efficient. A must try! Would definitely recommend to friends.

Friendly, helpful staff; tasty meal with ample portions and cooking on 700 degree rock is worth the experience. Not cheap but not overpriced.

My wife and I had dinner here on our honeymoon. We were extremely happy with our meal and the staff was wonderful. They could use at least one more staff member though. All and all I would highly recommend Love on the Rocks to anyone.

My husband, stepson and I ate here the last night of our vacation. The food was excellent and the staff were very attentive. The shrimp cocktail was fun, served on a conch shell, and we loved the concept of cooking our meal on the lava rocks right at the table. The waiter even pointed out how the beef was grass... More

We sit on the open air porch looking out at the sea as the sun sets. Our warm and oh so helpful hostess reviews the menu with us as she delivers warm local bread with yummy pesto for dipping. My husband selects the local fresh catch of the day, and I ask about what they have to offer vegetarian me.... More
