We ate here twice during our week in Hopkins, one for dinner and once for lunch. Both meals were very enjoyable. Local fish and chicken with rice and beans in a wonderfully rustic setting right on the beach in the north end of Hopkins.

Great location and easy to find. Our food was tasty and the portions were good. It took awhile to get our food, but it was worth the wait. We had the fresh fish, and it was really good. Prices were reasonable also.
A rustic spot on the beach serving up some amazing food at great prices. My husband and son had the barracuda which was served as a steak and fried to perfection. I had the whole grilled fish and cleaned every morsel off the fish. Emma opted for the fish taco which was prepared with a fruity salsa that added a...

Really looks and sounds like my kind of place. We followed some half-way directions from the UK tripadvisor, travelling each way from the police station, then asked some locals who shrugged their shoulders. I figure they were so inexpensive and delicious that they have closed up shop. If I am wrong I apologize.

Always the best "stew chicken". Eat there every year while in Hopkins.
When you arrive at the Laruni Hati, you might not be able to tell if they are open. They may or may not be. There are no posted hours, but just walk in and they'll tell you if they are cooking or not.
On our first visit here, we were blown away at how inexpensive it was. The bill came...

We ate at Laruni Hati several times during our recent trip to Hopkins. Every meal was outstanding. We never caught the owner's name and wish we had, but she sure can cook! The chicken burritos were excellent, my husband couldn't get enough of the fried snapper, and the shrimp was so lightly battered, seasoned and fried that I would love...

We like to go to local local resturants when we travel. I don't think it gets anymore local than Larini Hati. Very solid fried fish, rice and beans, fresh pineapple juice. Beach view. Perfect.
This place was the perfect lunch spot after we had just finished a long cave tubing adventure. I had the Stewed Chicken here and a nice Belikan Stout, which was very tasty. My friend had some incredible fried baracuda. This place is literally just off the beach, so you can enjoy your food and stare out into the water.
