Local food and good value, I had a traditional dish and my wife at the shrimp scampi, both were very good.

Places like this are pretty cool stops along the way. Unique spot to get non-americanized, authentic local food. We chose meals we probably couldn't get elsewhere. Worth a stop.

This is where all the locals told us to go for authentic Belizean food. The server was very sweet. The local food was different, but I'm glad I tried it!

While checking out the local cuisine I asked the locals where they go for the best authentic local fare. Innies was highly recommended and rightly so. Local Garifuna specialties at very reasonable prices. Another MUST stop in beautiful Hopkins.

This is a well know place. Lots of tourists eat here. I had Hudut the last time and bundiga this time. Both were great. Highly recommend expecially the Hudut a Belizian classic.

We asked a local on the street where the best spot for local food was and without missing a beat he sent us to Innie's Restaurant down the southern end of town. We had the Hudut which is a traditional Garifuna meal, made of smashed plantains and a coconut fish soup. It was delicious! We also had the fresh snapper... More

Don't come here if you're in a hurry, but there's no need to rush in Hopkins. Sit back, relax and enjoy some hudut. Watch out for the bones though. Be sure to break up the plantain ball and put it in your sauce.

For a wonderful authentic meal you go here. The service is a little slow but we literally saw the chef picking the vegetables for our meal so how do you get mad at that?! Best local hibutu I had.

We ordered from the lunch menu and wished we new we could have ordered from the authentic Garafunu page. Fish was very good and Hot wings were awesome?

The ladies were very nice and the food was great. It's not a "ritzy" establishment, just basic tables and whatnot, but don't judge a book by its cover. Try the Hudut (a local Garifuna dish) but watch out for the fish bones. The Fish and Chips is wonderful too. Delicious!
