Excellent Meal in the Trees overlooking the Ocean

As a family we did the tour of the spice garden. Easy to get to from Georgetown just watch the taxi pricing - 40RM tops - I'd encourage doing the guided tour as well. Our tour guide was enthusiastic and full of amazing facts. I found the tour a little short but it was made up with great facts and... More

Raymond and his staff run an amazing cafe, In the spice garden tourist park , this is our second visit being here in 2014 and the food quality has not lessened. After our meal we ordered extra just to re-taste the amazing food and the price was great. We even brought our swimmers and had cooling dip in blue waters... More

What a disappointment. After returning many times in 2014, it will be the last time now in 2015. Everything except from the view has changed in a sad way. The view and place remains great, but that was about it, so not worth the effort going there for an expansive meal. It was clear that the whole team changed, the... More

This restaurant is associated with the Tropical Spice Garden, and can also be accessed separately. It specializes in Thai “tapas” of good quality and tourist prices (not gouging, just on the high side). There are also main courses available as well as a menu of interesting drinks. The real entertainment comes from the monkeys foraging and playing in the trees... More

Blink while you're driving past this hillside restaurant and you'll miss it. The ocean view is worth the climb up. The Thai food is a bit over-rated I would suggest - be unequivocally explicit when you say you want "only a tiny amount of chilli" (I had enough to fuel two missions to Mars). Part of the problem here is... More

Excellent restaurant, a place to visit for lunch, dinners,.... absolutely. The food is great, chicken, fish, beef, everything is perfect. All cocktails are wonderful. Believe me, do not stop at the Hard Rock Cafe, just drive for 2 minutes more and you will be in a food paradise.

We came here after a day at monkey beach. Had the green and massaman curry which were very nice, nice meat quality! A tad bit more expensive (110 Rm for 2 curries a beer and a mocktail) but still very much OK, and you are of course partly paying for the view. Nice stop-over on the way back to the... More
