Well worth going

Visited this place twice during our holiday . Both occasions the food was superb. Beef Rendang and the Chicken Capitan are recommended and the Chardonnay was good. Could not fault the place and worked out about £18 for meals & a bottle of wine

We ate here with friends a year or two ago and thought it was fine. But what's happened since then. The portions were small, the food mediocre, the prices high. And not a local in sight. That should tell you something. Service is fine, but with all the rest, there are too many other great restaurants to enjoy in Penang.

This was a gteat place loved it for years...but went back last month and sorry it was poor. Had the Rendang it was bland watery and tasted like it had just been thrown together. The meat was large slices about three of them as if they were for stirfry. We also had the pepper chicken soso nothing like it was.... More

Having read the reviews we expected something really extra when going here. Yes, the atmosphere and the decor of the restaurant is nice. The food is alright, however the quality varies a bit. The curry was good, the fish was average and the ciabatta was in fact quite bad: Just a dry piece of bread with a slice of cheese... More

We ate here several times during our stay in Penang. A real genuine welcome from Amy and her team and exceptional food. I had the best fish curry outside of Kerala, spiced up at my request. It's great value and fully deserves its reputation. Give it a try.

This is a great little restaurant. Nothing too pretentious, just great food at great prices. I had red chicken curry which was delicious and the best banana fritters I have ever eaten! I just wish we had found it sooner. We might have eaten there every night!
