Long Beach is a collection of street stalls surrounding the sitting area. It is located outside and offers many cuisines including Malaysian. In the area there are not so many restaurants offering Malay food so I thought it appropiate to add this 'restaurant' to the listings, although most would probably not class it as a conventional one!

Who but the local folk can dish out in minutes fresh - tasty - local food at such a reasonable price and if you are in Batu Ferringhi I would visit the very well known to the local Long Beach Cafe ! The taxi driver from the airport told us about it on the way from the airport to our... More

This place is great, over our stay we ate from almost every stall, never disappointed. Always clean given its layout, the drinks service is particularly good!

I would probably start by finding a table first because this place was packed when we arrived. Also, when you order food, you'll need to tell them your table number so they can bring it to you when it's ready. The table number is important because the place is too big for them to try to spot you. From one... More

If you don't want to pay for luxury but have the choice of cheap good quality local food this is the place for you It's not really one restaurant its many food outlets of many cultures surrounding a eating area You order your food from as many stalls as you want and pay for it individually as its delivered to... Let yourself go and try as many different specialities as you can. Food doesn't get much fresher than this. Do not let yourself be put off by the lack of sophistication of the venue. It simply shows that all of the focus is on the food itself.

Always eat here at night whenever staying at one of the beach hotels nearby. Have varieties of local dishes with reasonable price at this glutton square. I always go for Penang fried kueh tiaw, Penang Hokkien mee (prawn noodle) and fried oyster. And to quench thirst, a glass of cold 'kedondong' juice.

Set just back of lovely Long Beach. Beautiful sunsets. Really large eating hall. Heaps of different choices. Dishes range from approx. 2-12MR per dish, easily feeding our family of five for about 50MR, equating to about 17AUD!

We ate here 2 twice during out 4 night stay. Good food and good prices. Had Fried Spring-roll which was excellent. Oyster omelet was excellent as well. Very disappointed with chicken/beef satay, it was too chucky and did not have much favour. Drink-delivery people were not too pushy either. But, can not bring food and drinks from outside.
