Long Beach is a collection of street stalls surrounding the sitting area. It is located outside and offers many cuisines including Malaysian. In the area there are not so many restaurants offering Malay food so I thought it appropiate to add this 'restaurant' to the listings, although most would probably not class it as a conventional one!

After watching the sun set over Batu Ferringhi beach take a slow walk through the night market till you find the hustle and bustle of Long Beach Cafe. Singles couples or groups, it doesn't matter, you will find something to eat to suit everyone. Local cuisine, western food, fiery Indian curries, Chinese, Thai, dessert, whatever your heart desires. If you... More

We ate at Long Beach on several occasions as it was such a great experience and extremely cheap. You can spend ages choosing your dishes and experiencing the many different cuisines whilst watching all the hustle and bustle going on all around you!

We ordered a lot of food among the four of us, the grilled prawns and fish was the best! Chicken wings great, fried rice was average. Totally recommend long beach if you are staying in the area, lots of good food to try.

We had visited it back in 2010 during our last visit to Penang and couldn't wait to go back to try some of the excellent dishes. It is still as good as we remembered and... More
