We are staying just down the road in Shangri La's Golden Sands resort and this place is a great find. Highlights so far have been the spring rolls, satay chicken and several sizzling platters. The food is above average but their stalls hygiene is definitely below average. The price range is better compare to other eateries at batu ferringi.

We visited here 6 out of our 11 nights in batu ferrengi, absolutely loved it. There were plenty of options for all of us including our picky 10year old. Not one of us had a bad meal. We tried a bit of everything from Indian butter chicken , spring rolls, pizza satay sticks, kebabs, dumplings, Mee goreng Kuey touy wey.... More

We had local friends to took us to this place - it's a favourite of theirs. There is lots of variety in food - definitely something for everyone from Pizza and Pasta to Indian and Malaysian. It's a hawker place, so expect it to be noisy, crowded, tables to be a *little* unstable - but that's all part of the... More

I am from Singapore and Penang's hawker food is close to and in many ways much better than Singapore's. The food at Long Beach is poor in my view. But if u are unwilling to travel to Georgetown, then it is probably the only option for local food outside of the hotels. Particularly I would advise against ordering the Fried... More

I love visiting the Long Beach when we are in Penang. In fact we go there most evening's due to the selection of food, it manages to keep everyone happy. just try and get a spot under a fan as it gets incredible hot in there. I've never had a meal I didn't like in ten years of visiting.

Ate here 2 nights in a row. I loved the bak kut teh and o chien. Their char kway teow was also very good. Cheap food but the wait can be long for the food, depending which one you want

We eat at long beach regularly, it always full of hungry people ..there are many stalls to choose your food from . Everything is local and very fresh . The stall holders are obliging and cannot do enough for you. You can choose all sorts to drinks and they are always icy cold. I am sure anyone could find just... More

What can I say about this place? What a fabulous place. We ate here 4 times in the 6 nights we stayed in Penang ! I wasn't sure what to expect and my husband had read reviews and was desperate to try it. It's all your favourite foods in a large food court serving pretty much any type of food... More

Visited this place for the 'hustle and bustle'. Great to 'people watch' and very cheap food with a wide selection of food and freshly cooked. Thoroughly enjoyed our satay, water and pizza all for under 50rm for the two of us! A bargain and great fun
