Long Beach is a collection of street stalls surrounding the sitting area. It is located outside and offers many cuisines including Malaysian. In the area there are not so many restaurants offering Malay food so I thought it appropiate to add this 'restaurant' to the listings, although most would probably not class it as a conventional one!

great ,cheap safe food

We stumbled upon this street side food hall on our first night in Penang and had some delicious, hot, tasty food that was cooked in no time and incredibly inexpensive. The beer was cold too much to my husbands delight.

Good place to chow down without breaking the bank. The Northen indian food is about the best thing that you can order from the food court.

One of the best places to eat. Lots of hawker food with each one providing a speciality that they are excellent at cooking. Recommend the samosas and sizzling prawns with garlic and chili.

Excellent service from the drinks servers, great choice of stalls from which you can order freshly cooked food at a very reasonable price. A really good experience.

We ate and drank a good few times at Long Beach Café on many occasions whilst visiting Penang and I was very, very impressed. Before I go on, couples who want a quiet romantic meal out in the evening then read no further! Highlights are the Prawns with Noodles, Singapore Noodles, Satay sticks with the sauce (just amazing!) BBQ Chicken... More

This place has so much choice. There are many food places within Long Beach. We got the Murtabak and have to say it was cheap and probably the best I have ever eaten. We also had some tandoori chicken which was lovely. Great value cheap eat place.

Great variety and good taste at a cheap price. There are some favorite dishes I usually order and many I have nver tried. Only one of the service staff has been unpleasant. My favorites are the Char Koay Teow and the sizzelling plate .. yum yum yum
