Great choice at the buffet breakfast and the staff were very welcoming, friendly & attentive. The staff even sang happy birthday to me on the final morning

We stayed at the Lone Pine for two weeks so that meant fourteen sensational breakfasts at The Bungalow. The choices of cereals, fresh fruits, cooked Western style and Malaysian style were many and varied. The barbecue nights were good value for money with their jovial chef producing tender meat and chicken satays.

I've just got back from here after a visit with family. While breakfast was great and had a good choice of cold meats, cheeses, egg station, curries, rices, cakes and hot selection my score is based on the lunch service. We used this service twice, one by pool and one is the restaurant the waiting time was very long on... More

The breakfast was excellent. Lunch and dinner takes awhile to be served. The servers were excellent and made great suggestions.

For the price the lack of choice and average quality this place is not worth the visit. There are so many better choices around. Surroundings and staff don't add charm either!

Food here is disappointing and expensive. If you have to eat here, stick with the cannot-fail items like sandwiches, fries, maybe pasta. For the price, I expected more. Three of us cost us RM156 for a simple meal of 1 sandwich, 1 steak and 1 spring roll.

Three of us had lunch here. Very disappointing. Smoked salmon sandwich RM36 .....generous size but not much taste. "Famous" spring rolls RM20 were dripping from the stale oil they were fried in!! And they were hot on the outside and cold inside so maybe they were frozen. Tenderloin steak RM65 was also tasteless and took a long time so it... More

Wife and I went for an early dinner to enjoy the Hainanese Cuisine and the Chicken Rice wasn't a disappointment. A new staff served us and she proved to be attentive and well trained. The Bungalow has an interesting background and extensive Menu to cater for all. Will consider a stay at The Lone Pine Hotel on our next visit... More

We had lunch at the Bungalow and were the only guests eating at that time. Still it took ages to get our food, which was overpriced and nothing special. The noodles were tasteless as were the springrolls too. Wouldn't go there again.

Our experience at The Bungalow was so bad that even the manager did not resist when we said we would only pay for our Perrier water. I am not sure what happened the evening my family of 4 had dinner but from the moment we walked in we could tell something was not right as the staff seemed distracted and... More
