Simple and excellent!

A very simple eatery, but simply delicious too. One of the few in Montagu. Great pizza (!!), delicious home made pasta and wonderful salad. Unfussy and simple dining. However: an appalling wine list (albeit cheap), BYOB and pay the corkage!

Quaint little place serving a small menu of authentic pasta and pizza-a wood fired oven provides the best taste!!!

It is unforgivable to be in a winelands area and to have such a poor and ting wine list. On the night I went there seemed to be only one waitress on duty who did everything herself. There was no atmosphere and even the menu was very limited. The pizza was burnt around the edges but had a crisp base.... More

In a hot day we just sat in the terrace and order something refreshing, 2cocacola + pita bread. Enough for 2people, R70. And fast, what else can i say? Perfect

This is a charming little place with an old world feel to it due to the many vintage pictures and decorations. The pizza and pasta were both excellent and made with care. This is a great place to come if you want a relaxed evening away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Had an amazing evening with great food. The place has an atmosphere that makes you feel like you're dining in a different era. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the food was excellently prepared.

The food is very delicious and it is a tranquil environment. I like the fact that you can see the kitchen. The only problem is the slow services.

Small and cosy place with great friendly service ... I love the thin based pizza and the home made pasta is always good- best place in Montagu for great meal.

We walked in around 7: 20 and saw the place was full inside. Looked so nice and cozy...perfect spot to end the day. Well not exactly. The lady that greeted us at the door was nothing but rude and unhelpfull. A simple questions from us asking how long we have to wait turned into a very unfortunate confrontation with probably... Great vibes, cosy, intersting decor... worth a visit. The pizzas were great . friendly service.. The bolognaise was okay, lacking some flavour, but not enough to spoil the meal... The dessert menu a bit small and for a special spot like this i think bar one chocolate sauce and not bottle sauce would be much better...
