If Noronha's waters are paradise for snorkelers and divers, then Zé Maria is paradise for food lovers. On Wednesdays and Saturdays there's a buffet dinner (all you can eat formula) in the pousada that you shouldn't miss, even though the price can put you off (152 reais per person plus drinks).
It takes some time to start (they will serve...

Zé Maria's is a great place to be in Noronha. Beutiful, great service, large and creative menu, and decent prices on the sharing dishes made with the sorround hidroponic gardens and the sliding roof the best Place to eat I've been in Noronha. Its true i felt sick the next day, but i was the only one so i belive...

I've been to Ze Maria several times. It used to be a place I liked a lot.

I had this amazing filet mignon with garlic and patatoes... simply DELICIOUS. I had to wait a while for my dish... beyond reasonable...

We went to the Wednesday evening festival buffe dinner and really enjoyed it. Great food, delicious deserts and fun dancing afterwards.

The best food in the island! Once or twice a week (depending on the season), you can enjoy a food festival at this restaurant. With common tables, the environment is calm and perfect to a nice talk and make new friends. The food is properly presented by Jose Maria himself and the invited chef: salads, fishes, typical Brazilian food like...

We had individual dishes whic were very good and very well served. The prices of the dishes are ok compared to others restaurants in Fernando de Noronha. It has one of the best wine lists in the island, although prices are high. There aren't many desert options. Service was ok but in the end it was lasy since was kind...
